611 pretty much confirmed that Kyuubi did not restore Guy's chakra in 610

As you could see, Guy did not do anything at all after supposedly being restored by Kurama in 610 and yet he's barely standing. To me it seems to imply that Kurama did not restore him. He was probably planning to do it but there was no time, hence Guy's current state.

This also clears the misconception that Kakashi has been healed twice by Kurama.

These are called "Chakra Gates" for a reason. Opening them causes you to lose chakra. Even if normally taijutsu does not require chakra, techniques like Hirudora, which require opening the gates, also require chakra in turn.

No it doesn't. The opening gates doesn't just burn chakra they also tear up the body by removing the natural limiters. So Guy's chakra might be back, but his body is still tore up!

The Kyubbi chakra can also heal people from physical injuries on top of restoring their chakra supply.

Thats true, but it was stated by Kakashi that using the MS to warp the 8-Tails to the dimension and back would take a good amount of chakra from him, he actually said ALOT I think. Seeing how he used the MS before that too and then used it on the 8-tails without refill from Kurama I would say that Kurama gave him a crap load of chakra.

Besides, I don't think it's possible to "hold" more chakra than your natural reserves are. I mean, in this case what could possibly stop one from regenerating chakra infinitely? Most likely the limit on chakra regeneration comes from the maximum amount a person can "store".

That only means that Kakashi can store alot of chakra, but I do think he can get a boost of chakra for a few min.
