Already knew that stuff, and honestly it really doesn't change anything, Hitler was still a monster. Besides some of the stuff you mentioned might have been good, but most if not all of it was done for the wrong reasons. lol

Like 'liberating' Iraq?
People are too quick to paint Hitler as the 'ultimate evil' of the world. Nobody ever mentions the brutality of the American Civil War, or the horrors of European Imperialism in Africa, or Israel's quest to ethnically cleanse Palestine, or the mindless destruction caused by the United States in Vietnam and Korea, or the greed-driven campaign in Iraq.
Nor does anyone ever mentione Roosevelt/Truman and their war-crimes in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun aren't made out to be monsters and none of them did anything but rape and kill.

Right and Wrong Are Simply concepts people use To justify things in their own reality ...
What may seem wrong to us .. may be right to a others .. So i tend not to classify things as right and wrong or good and bad .. i simply say what hitler did was murder Millions of people ... Which is simply .. Ignorant ..

You forgot to add that Hitler came up with 'financial child support'.
Also, that mass murderer was probably a mason or something. He was interested in eastern mythology/spirituality and would have his men search for sh1t in the east.

You guys should really learn to read before you react. You're calling someone a neonazi based on what? Him making a list stating that there were good things in what a person did?

He never stated saying he was pro-Hitler. The fact is, he gave straight up facts about accomplishments that Hitler made true.

Hitler did some good things for Germany and things that ended up being not all too bad for the world. No one said he was a good man, or that he did everything right or that he didn't do anything wrong. OP just said that Hitler did some good things. He never stated it made up for the genocide and what not. Seriously, learn to read before you just randomly post stuff. It's so annoying to see some people just say what ever they want without even going over what the OP means. If that's what you're here for, get out of general discussion.

no one said the list made up for what he did, or in any way try to say that the good he did outways the bad (and if you really belive this, you simply can't have an IQ above 70)

but the list does point to 6 things he did that wasen't all bad, Hitler did some really good things for his people, without the V rocket tecnologi we would never have been able to get to the moon (at least not when we did, we might have been able to do it in the 70-80'dies, but not before)

and no I am not trying to defend what he did, Hitler was a gigantic **** and im glad he is dead, but the man wasen't pure evil, and he did do some good things for his people.

Hitler, the man labeled by many as the most vicious person who has ever lived, was not just a mass-murdering dictator. Of course all the media wants to talk about was how evil the Third Reich was. But great evil is almost always balanced by great good- this is a cosmic principle of nature. If any man embodied such balance of light and dark, it was Adolf Hitler.

“I’m not a Nazi but…”

I just want to make it abundantly clear before I continue that I am not a Nazi sympathizer in any way, shape, or form. One thing I’m sick of however is how “taboo” the subject of Adolf Hitler still is. It’s okay to talk about Nero, Julius Caesar, or Vlad the Impaler and to speculate “this” or “that” about such figures in mankind’s history- but make one mention of Hitler and right off the bat one has to first emphasize that they’re not racist, bigoted, or hateful in any manner or to any degree- just as I did a few sentences earlier! It’s kind of like saying, “Hey dude, before we sit down and have a conversation about Genghis Khan, I just want to clear the air and state for the record that I am in no way a Chinaman hell-bent on uniting the nomadic tribes of North-East Asia”.

The Nazis Didn’t Just Kill People!

Besides the events that everyone since childhood has been told of, particularly the story of the holocaust, there were many astonishing acts carried about by Hitler’s government that few are familiar with. The following are six good achievements made by the Third Reich that radically set the stage for future advancement in many particular fields, sciences, and social norms.

1.) No smoking! Hitler was vehemently anti-smoking. The Nazi’s were also the first to link smoking to the contraction of cancer.

2.) The Hitler Mobile? Hitler wanted every German, whether rich or poor, to have a car. And thus he invented the Volkswagen (“People’s Car”).

3.) Spare some change? Before coming into power in 1933, mass unemployment crippled the German economy. The global depression of that era made it so that a wheelbarrow full of money couldn’t even buy a loaf of bread. When the Nazis stormed on to the scene, they put everyone back to work. Over night, the wheels of the economy were turning once more and money was flowing back into people’s pockets.

4.) It’s his way or the highway! Every time you hop on to the freeway to get somewhere faster than taking all the back roads, thank Hitler. That’s right, Hitler invented the highway system (“Autobahn” in German).

5.) This little light of mine… I’m gunna let it shine! The Olympic torch relay ceremony was Hitler’s idea for the 1936 Berlin Olympic games. We haven’t since gotten rid of the ceremony.

6.) Save the whales! Hitler and many top Nazis were environmentalist types who cared deeply about animals and their rights. The Nazis were among the first to put in place laws protecting animals from abuse.

Aside from the above examples are many countless others wherein Hitler used his extraordinary power as dictator to push both good and evil policies. Again, it’s important to realize the “yin yang” concept as alluded to prior when attempting to make sense of such information concerning the person and achievements of Adolf Hitler.

That's what the OP was getting at.

You really do have some sort of complex about the USA, give it a rest, will ya'? lol How did that even enter the conversation? There's plenty of monsters throughout history, but we aren't talking about them, we're talking about Hitler and whether or not he was a monster.

Do you agree that Hitler was a monster? It's a yes or no question... ^_^

Hitler was a **** who deserved to die but I am astonished at the number of people who just fail to see some of the things he has done. If he was not such a sociopath and racist I would not be surprised if he was labeled one of the greatest leaders in history.

I think you're giving Hitler far too much credit here. Sure, he was the leader at the time, but its a stretch to say he was personally responsible for those things.

Hitler didn't invent the highway system. The first "highway" was created in Italy. In the US there was The Federal Aid Highway Act of 1921, which of course was before Hitler came to power. Perhaps he helped create the extensive highway system in Germany, but to say he invented highways is false.

I also think its misleading to say that Hitler saved the German economy. What he did was in no way sustainable. He forced people to work, excluded women and Jews from unemployment numbers, and built an economy based on a massive military and government projects. The idea that Germany's economy was improved is a product of propaganda and cooking the books, nothing more. Hitler's economic policies led to the forced labor of millions of people and essentially led to World War II. Hardly a positive in my book.
