it's a book too and based on the trailer let me guess

These wimpy looking kids who try to sound like they're badazzes but fail somehow prevail against the "aliens"

Only actor I recognize is Liev Schrieber and I bet he won't have much screen time and what time he gets it will be him getting saved by those kids

I'm getting tired of these dystopia/world ending movies. All of them go the same: underdeveloped characters that we don't care about, no good plot, dumb character decisions, cheesy love stories,dumb people dying for dumb reasons, cliche end of world shit.
