narutos clone bursts into smoke, but the battlefield behind him is devastated.

kakashi suddenly bursts from underground to try and land a hit on tobi.

he is blasted away. gai catches him, and sets him down. gai looks on solemnly. suddenly he is forced to dodge as tobi forms asura arms out of his left side and bombards them with missiles. bee shields kakashi with his tentacles.
bee: ink mist!
tobi: hes trying to cloud up the rinnegan's vision...
naruto: come on!
naruto emerges from the ink. kunai clashes with warfan in a deadly duel. naruto is the faster one and he manages to land a hit on tobi's other half of the mask, but it bounces off harmlessly. tobi goes intangible just as a rasenshuriken hurtles towards him.
kakashi: a-amazing.
naruto pushes tobi back, and bees ink clones materialise behind him, to seal him, but tobi sucks himself up. just as this happens, theres a tremendous explosion. tobi reappears, injured.
naruto smirks.
kurama: he takes longer to suck himself up than other objects. i wasnt idle during the attack on konoha.
naruto: so we knew we could hurt you as long as you were solid.
tobi: im impressed. but now its over. ill be killing all of you. but first..
the fan swings again.
tobi: fire release: superheated 4 pillar prison
four towers of fire raise up around naruto, cutting him off.
kakashi: the barrier's too strong. if we touch that, we'll be incinerated.
tobi: its useless to break it. but i have to admit if i did continue our battle i would eventually lose.
kakashi: no there is a way. we can save naruto if we defeat you.
tobi: very perceptive kakashi. good eye. but..
ninja art: chakra chains
steel chains burst from his body and capture hachibi in a hold. the chains anchor themselves to the ground.
tobi: thats a seal from the uzumaki clan. it supresses bijuu chakra. as a trade off i cant use it while focusing on the mazou.
tobi swings his fan again, just as kakashi counter attacks with lightning beast running.
tobi: wind release: sleet
the jutsu disperses, smothered by a rain of hail and cutting wind that covers the sky.
gai: this is truly power of a god...
tobi: i developed it myself, as a way to match naruto's rasenshuriken. the force of the technique, and the cold wind summoned disperses ninjutsu by freezing the chakra in the opponents. neither of you can move anymore.
kurama: thats how he stopped the rasengan earlier.

katsuyu bursts forth, ripping up the ground.
