Gai's death
gai flashes back to team gai, training tenten, neji vs hinata, and lee vs gaara. lee standing unconscious. being told tenten defeated kakuzu and seeing lee defeat mangetsu.
gai - im proud of you all..i think i can finish this here and let the next generation take over. the time of youth has passed.
bee - gyuki, isn't that...
hachibi - gai-san intends to use that jutsu.
the immense pressure from opening the death gate causes a crater beneath gai. tobi's eye twitches.
tobi - what's this?
gai - this ends now, you old bastard. you and i will die here.
with blinding speed, gai charges at him and vanishes from sight. then he shunshins behind tobi, and catches him in a hold.
gai - you won't be using your jutsus to defend yourself. now..lets go high.
gai's jacket unravels itself and covers tobi, restricting him, and gai's strength lifts him high into the air.
naruto - gai sensei! let me help!
bee holds naruto back desperately.
bee - don't get in the way.
tobi - d-damn you!
gai - NIGHT TIME PANTHER!
his body becomes covered in a red aura, and tobi begins to see his body get crushed by gai's arms.
tobi thinking: c-can't move...what is this jutsu?
gai then speeds towards the earth, tobi in tow.
tobi thinking: he intends to kill us both by throwing us into the ground? idiot!
tobi: d-don't throw your life away for these i-insects!
gai - no. we both die here.
gai remembers naruto's battle against the bijuus.
gai thinking: naruto-kun..i hope i will see you in heaven. bring lee-kun with you. protect everyone.

armour forms on tobi's back, and his head opens up.
tobi - reverse laser explosion!
just as they hit the ground, they are engulfed in an explosion.

tobi stands behind them. the asura armour is shattered and so is half his mask. his sharingan is glowing red, as izanagi was activated.
tobi - thats the second time you've nearly killed me....maito gai. you live up to your reputation. but now its over. you're all exhausted and used up your final trump card.

suddenly out of the treeline, all the alliance shinobi arrive.
inoichi - target the masked man. when the medical division arrives, kitsuchi moves in to protect naruto. we must reach kakashi before its too late! long range and mid range divisions, concentrate on defeating that monster! close range divisions, hold off the masked man! above all we must protect naruto and bee from being captured!

tobi - damn gai...ill have to turn izanagi off and warp bee now.
his eye swirls, and before naruto can react, bee is sucked up.
darui - bee sama!
naruto - god damn it!
tobi - i still have more than enough power to take all of you on. naruto you're next.
he places a hand on naruto but before he can warp him, 4 shinobi arrive and attack him. lee, sakura, mifune and neji. tobi phases but has to retreat from the onslaught and sakura carries naruto out of there.

sakura - since tsunade shisou is not here, ill heal you naruto.
naruto smiles warmly.
sakura - listen i-
