I'm actually a goalkeeper. It's not his fault. Who would think someone would return a farass goal kick with a header that will reach your poles? And when a ball bounces short of you, you screwed.

Nah, it's all the GK's fault. I've also played GK for quite some time and he's faulty.
The basic of when you're doing a goal kick is to step back 2-3 steps backwards. It ensures these kind of cases or cases when the player tries a lob or a volley.

Here, the fool step even more forward than at where he were after kicking the goalkick. That's why the first rebound lobbed him. If he stepped back, the ball will have come easily into his hand after the 2nd or 3rd rebound.

Rebound precautions are basic learning of a GK and in short, he sucks.

The header is good but it went into goal because of poor goal-keeping.
