Sure, but there are and can be even more less lethal options to stop a criminal. That's the whole point.

You don't have to kill a criminal with a gun. They can be used to just stop one with a shot in the leg or even just the threat of being shot. Though I'd argue that a victim has every right to lethal self-defense in a lot of cases.

lol these things happen, there are lots of cults in America. not to mention allot of domestic terrorist that radicalize themselves and are potential threats. So you would be better of with some protection. What's weird is the paranoia Americans have that the government is just waiting to turn on them. If the government wanted to, they could f*ck their citizens up with or without a gun ban.

You'd rather have incidents like this continue then trust in the government a little. And yes, guns don't walk up and kill people, but it is exponentially more difficult for a mentally ill ISIS sympathizer to kill 50 by other means than just pull a trigger of an assault rifle.

but no impossible. if this guy decided to put carbon dioxide in the vent, or use the gas to simply blow the building, this would have been just as sad and maybe even more effective.

when you look at things from that perspective you realize that simply banning guns isnt the answer. Because if we allow fear to paralyze us, what happens, we become sheep who cant protect ourselves from wolves. I dont know where you're from, but just accept you cant parallel your country's and mines share Different mentality's when it comes to the degree in which one should be allowed to protect themselves.
