I completely agree. The amount of gun-kills in the USA is much much higher than in any other developed country. I don't get how the sh!theads over there still don't get their problem and change the gun laws. Only the police should have guns, no one else.

I'm not going to debate because I'm lazy but I disagree at bold. Police officers be killing innocent people left and right and if they have too much power then we're going to become a merchandise for them and the people within the government that hold a good amount of power.

In Germany, there are no things such as "government tyranny". No common citizen has to be armed with lethal weapons, Europe isn't Syria or Afghanistan. Guns only lead to violence and the more common people have them, the more these guns will be misused. Exactly what happening in the USA.

I'd be okay with non-lethal tools that can take out aggressors temporarily witout leaving consequential damages.

Its more the fault of the people who sell the guns, the only gun law that needs to be passed is one which makes Arms Dealers more responsible for the products they sale. If you sell a product which caused a mass shooting or murder, they should have their licence confiscated for 5 years, this would put pressure on them to ensure that they sell these objects to qualified or rather mentally stable Americans.

In case you never bought a gun, they do a background check. but to mentally assess people I think would cost too much and would be excessive. Can you think of a cheap standardized test which could test the full wellness of a individuals mind? Me either. Neurologist, psychologist and so on are still baffled by certain behavioral traits ( some people just snap out the blue).
