5 Most Obvious Signs Tobi was Obito

You make it sound like there weren't a lot of people who didn't see it coming.
Some people didn't believe it was him and wouldn't until the mask was off.
And I kid you not when a friend of mine irl though it was an evil Naruto shadow clone.

Actually the majority were against Tobi being Obito.

I'm pretty sure that in the fight with Konan you could see one half was wounded and the other half wasn't exactly all wrinkled up and stuff.

We all know it was obvious..but that's the thing..It was so obvious that we didn't think kishi would actually do it..

This. When Tobi first appeared in Naruto, almost everyone was positively certain that it was Obito because the signs were so glaringly obvious. Some seemed pretty ridiculous, though (If you mix around the name and add another "o", you get Obito). Even when he claimed that he was Madara, most were still skeptical and refused to believe it. It wasn't until there was so much evidence pointing towards him actually being Madara that people were convinced and it became "common knowledge" that Tobi = Madara. When Madara was reanimated, everyone speculated that Tobi was Kagami or Izuna because if he really was Obito, some of the previous evidence of him being Madara would cause some contradictions (also, some creative theories of why he was Izuna or Kagami were more inventive than the actual story). Kishi also started dropping more hints of him being Obito prior to the big chapter, so when it came time that he was revealed, it just seemed like a tame plot twist that was kind of anit-climactic. It was kind of like "Surprise! The masked man turned out to be the guy you thought it was when you first saw him, destroying most of your perceptions of him as a good character and tarnishing his heroic death!"

It's not obvious unless you watched the 2 Kakashi Gaiden episodes you know.. Oh and I read on Obito's page on Naruto Wikia before I got up to where the manga/anime was so I spoiled it for myself... and when I first saw Tobi, I did not think it was Madara because it wouldn't seem like Madara was that kind of person.. (I watched it dubbed so the voice of Tobi was childish sorta)

It's so obvious that the reveal itself doesn't cover numerous plotholes. Not even Kishi can cover that up with a cement truck.

Obviously its not obvious if you dont watch kakashi gaiden. If you dont see them, you dont know obito exists.
