If all he needed was the gold and silver bros tossed in the pot, and a couple of seals and a few hours later poof! The mazou turns into the juubi and he himself turns into its jinchuriki, then wtf was obitos reason for starting the war in the 1st place? The 8 and 9 tails mofos are as safe as they were 120 chapters ago, so was all that happened in between just for the lolz??!! Obito couldve just hid in a desert or some shit where he quietly carried out what hes doing now. He was always gonna have to become the juubi jin to cast infinite tsukuyomi, and as weve seen he can become the host w.o either kurama or the hachibi. But what was the point of putting everything at risk by declaring his plan and starting a world war?
His whole plan wouldve been finished if kakashi had killed him in his kamui dimension. Not to mention the enormous amount of chakra lost in making a 100000 zetsus couldve been utilised to help strengthen the juubi. Assuming he can gain control over the juubi and get his consciousness back , this whole war couldve been avoided and the manga finished back in that cave with kabuto.
Akatsuki had upto the 7 tails and the hachibis tentacle sealed in the mazou back in ch 410-20ish when sasuke fought bee. Between then and now all obito got added to his mazo collection was 2 ancient zombies. The rikudo jutsu has worked like a bomb, ummm why the f.ck didnt obito just do it all back then instead of going on a wild goose chase for naruto nd bee, only to come up empty handed?
Everything that has happened since, pretty much proves that obito couldve had this nailed by ch 520 at the latest, w.o a single shot being fired on the battlefield.
