Mei Terumi is a very powerful kunoichi from Kirigakure, her abilities and leadership earned her the title of Mizukage.

Mei likes too use combinations alot in battle and her two kekkai genkai's are very useful in battle she can use the hiding in the mist technique to

the Kazekage and can use her Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique to make the mist even more thicker for the Kazekage and melting him in the process and the mist is capable of melting Sasuke's susano'o ribcage

Through her Kekkai Genkai Mei can raise the temperature of her Hiding in the Mist jutsu by using her Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique which would give her an opportunity to quickly use her Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique to melt the Kazekage. Also Mei's Boil Release:Skilled Mist Technique is extremely hot able to melt Madara and Sasuke's Susano'o ribcages with ease and the Kazekage doesn't have a great defense and if this hits the Kazekage it could be game over.

The 4th Kazekage is the father of Gaara and the one and only user of Jiton that eventually fell to the unexpected betrayal of Orochimaru.

He uses Gold Dust in a similar fashion to Gaara. Which isn't a surprise as he taught Gaara how to use his Sand.

This essentially means that the 4th Kazekage has most Jutsu's that we've seen Gaara use. On top of this, he can match the speed of current Gaara's Sand.

Gold as it seems. Is a perfect counter to Mei's Lava release. The Melting point of Gold being 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, while Lava only reaches 1200-1400 degrees Fahrenheit (both are chakra enhanced, so the numbers still hold), and by feats can't melt the Kazekages gold that has a ridiculously high melting point. The same could be said for her acidic mist, but in such an open area it wouldn't be necessary.

Mei's Water encampment pillar wouldn't be enough to block a Gold Dust Tsunami, the gap in scale is much to large. Gold Dust is also a heavy substance and not subject to water like Gaara's sand due to its material properties. Same for Water dragon, the gap in size is much to large and water dragon packs the stopping power. (Some of your links are broken btw)

I'm afraid heat doesn't work in that fashion, neither of the two attacks exceed a certain tempurture, then it will remain around that temputure. Also, Sasuke's Ribcage Susano'O was shown not to be any more resistant to heat, on top of this it was broken by A's punch after he had list all his momentum. Given these two things, Mei lacks the ability to melt the 4th Kazekages Gold, and even then that's assuming a its a thin layer. He could make then Shield thicker to be extra sure.

Mei hasn't shown to to be exceptional in the Hidden Mist Art. He Cision would be clouded just a much as the Kazekage's. As stated before, Gold Dust wouldn't be harmed by Suiton, Gold isn't Subject to water like Sand is. Sunken Gold can stay in Water for hundreds of years with Minimal Errosion. On top of this, the 4th has massive AoE attacks that far surpass Mei's AoE which will make it relatively easy to find her. Staying in Gold Dust Dome and using Gold Dust Third Eye takes away the chance of him getting hit in the mist.

The Kazekage can completely avoid CQC by staying in the Gold Dust Dome. To further ensure his safety he can Use Gold Dust Armor.

Her hiding in the mist is very effective especially as she can rise the PH level with her Boil Release and as seen in her fight against Sasuke the mist is very acidic melting his Susano'o bones and because her comrades were with her she never rose the temperature if they weren't there she would have completely melted the Susano'o ribcage,

The main reason for the Kazekages win is his inherent advantage in a firefight. His Gold Dust is an even more durable defense than Gaara's from its chemical make-up and even lacks the weaknesses that Gaara's sand has against Suiton users such as Mei. Hes even shown masterful skill over Gold Dust to a degree that he can even match Gaara for a few exchanges before being overcome.

. This attack dwarfs Mei's two largest Suiton. This attack is so dangerous do to Mei being unable to dodge, counter, or overpower it.

His other Attacks he's been shown to be skilled enough (and hyped to) be able to use arnt really necessary since Gold Dust Tsunami is a sure fire kill. Gold Dust Coffin to Gold Dust Burial is only neccesary if he decides attack her in a sneaker way.

The lynchpin of his defense is the durability of Gold and its Melting point that Mei's Attacks can't breach. He completely gets around all her attacks by creating a dome of Gold Dust around himself and using the Golden Third Eye. He can also stand on some of his gold and manipulating it, allowing flight and a completly avoiding Acid Mist and most of her Suitons (Barr Suiton: Ryuudan)

Both arguments were pretty good although i sensed towards the ending you two were repeating your facts over and over e.g. mei raising PH levels and melting rib cage and kazekage making sand dome.

Furthermore just because the forth showed gaara shinobi secrets it doesnt necessarily mean that the kazekage can do every single jutsu gaara can, remember gaaras jutsu progressed throughout the series and he did in the end win against his dad. If the user hasnt displayed the jutsu he, therfore, to our knowledge cannot use them unless there has been some sort of interpenetration e.g. madaras rinnengan techs (even though he hasn't shown shinra tensei its a fact he can still do it).

Nakamaru made a good point about sand tsunami towering over mei however the fact that his sand isnt automatic will give mei a advantage since she herself has fast handseals and can use hiding in the mist to block his sense of direction. This would only work before he uses sand tsunami though. ITs true that jutsus like lavas damage are increased. ITs the same scenario as mokuton; its wood but with chakra its durability is enhanced.

I dont think meis water can do much against gold dust as Joki boy was rendered useless against gold dust and he was oil and water. however lava and Ph enhanced mist may do some damage since his sand isnt automatic.

The fact that gold dust is heavy means it takes longer than sand to weild therfore putting the kazekage in a slight disadvantage. You should of mentioned that Izunakakashi. You should have also mentioned that the kazekage is unaware of his surrounding and can be caught off guard (thats how gaara captured his dad in the first place and that how orochimaru killed him; via sneak attack which is possible in mist).

Knowing mei she will use her knowledge to outwit the kazekage (as implicitly repeated by Izunakakashi). but nakamaru showed SOME valid scan as did izuna
