Dude that manga is bull. 1)naruto's only wind jutsu is spiral shuriken thingie 2)none of the 6 pain bodies can use fire attacks 3)A wind attack to counter a fire attack? 4) Sasuke is busy healing, and may not even be on his way yet(not including any shinobi after them, or the huge distance's or akutsuki). If they are already here, then wouldn't the lihgtning shinobi who were sent with a message to the hokage be here already too?

What if this has to do with some kind of power coming out of the kyubi and he can draw that power a lot better while in Sage mode?

It would be cool if he can use some of the jutsus from the kyubi just like when he changed to the 4-tails during the fight with Oro. But in this case he stays in his own original form since he has better control of the kyubi. Maybe he can tap into the kyubi while in Sage mode and make use of both simultaneously.

I was thinking about DBGT when Goku was a big Gorilla, but changed to SS4 once he had gained control of himself.
