There are a few pics of Sasuke with MS near the sacred Tablet.
There are some around the place where Sasuke unseals Oro out of the curse seal as well (from Anko).
Sasuke already had EMS back than.

Some pepple say the drawings of Sasuke with MS are a mistake (he has showed MS after the Itachi implant).
Some people say the drawings of Sasuke with MS are, because he can switch between 3 tomoe, MS and EMS.
Some people say Itachi took his powers from Sasuke again.

I dont think the drawings of MS are a mistake. Kishi has done this around Sasuke reviving Oro from Anko and in the Uchiha sacred tablet room. Kishi wouldnt so so many mistakes one after the other. His MSlogo, has been drawn on purpose imo.

I think it would be useless if you can swap between MS and EMS.
Why would you do that? Why would you swap to a Dojutsu, which can make you blind?
That doesnt make sense. You dont swap from 3 tomoe to 1 tomoe either.
Even if his MS pattern doesnt make him blind and gives him eternal light as well, his old MS powers dont have anything, that his EMS cant do. So apart from making people believe he has MS only, it wont do anything.

Itachi, taking his powers from Sasuke again, seems to be weird as well, because Itachi had faith in Sasuke, before he vanished as Edo. He would love him whatever decision he would take. He didnt trust Sasuke before (therefore he had KotoAmatsukami with the crow), but this time, he trusted Sasuke.
Removing your powers from Sasuke wouldnt make sense.

Why can Sasuke swap patterns?
Do you think he can do it?
Did Kishi make a mistake?

I hope he just activated the MS in order not to provoke the Hokages too much.

If he has somehow lost his EMS I will consider dropping the manga. (there is still Madara though..so nah I won't drop it )

i dont get it myself this weeks character definitely proves that last weeks character of sasuke's having MS instead of EMS wasn't a mistake i guess he can switch between the two

But for what purpose?
What is the use of switching between the eyes. What does MS give that EMS cant? I assume when he switches to MS, that eye has eternal light now as well, but it might just only have Sasuke his MS powers in it, and when he swaps to EMS it has all the dojutsus he has.

With 3 tomoe and EMS, one could say, 3 tomoe is less chakra use probably.
MS seems to be inferieur to EMS in every way. If Sasuke his swapping from EMS to MS could cause blindness, would make it even more useless. So basically swapping to MS is pointless right?
The only use it has is misleading the opponent that you only have MS and not EMS...

I still wonder what is behind the drawing of Sasuke his MS.

it is just a hunch but maybe he was trying to see if there is any hidden writings in the room and maybe using different states of the sharingan he can read different things. maybe he is reading the table and needs different dojutsus to see certain parts of the tablet. just and idea

Agreed. This is a strange mistake for Kishi to make twice. I dont think Itachi could take away his "power". I mean, Sasuke has Itachi's eyes in his skull. That is the requirement for EMS. This is strange indeed.

The tablet needs to be read in:
1*
3tomoe, MS/EMS, Rinnegan
or
2*
3tomoe, MS, EMS, Rinnegan. Can Rinnegan read all, or only an extra part?
For example, a Rinnegan user cant read what a 3tomoe can?

If it is 2*, than this would actually make some sense.
It would give the MS a purpose. Because if you had ms and didnt read the tablet, than you gained EMS, than you wouldnt be able to read the MS part anymore.

I dunno. With Itachi you never know. He implanted his own MS design + amaterasu attack in Sasuke (to kill Obito), without putting his own eyes in Sasuke his skull. So maybe he can take jutsus from eyes as well. Giving Sasuke his own MS form, but with Eternal light.
Probably not the case though but you never know.

How could they belive it was an EMS if he showed them it. They knew everyones MS was different, so they might think EMS was his regular MS.

More likely that itachi showed up, fought a snake guy, and stole another power up.
