Hey guys, I have a seagate backup plus desktop hdd with USB 3.0. Recently, after creating a system image using the windows 7 file recovery tool in windows 8, my hdd shrank 1TB. I have no way of extending the current 2 TB partition because the disk is MBR, not GPT. Seagate's drive tool cannot recognize my hdd, and I am at a loss about what to do. I don't have enough hdd space to backup 2TB of data to other drives, and I don't want to lose any data. The drive is still under warranty, but I don't know what I should do. Should I return the drive and hope they transfer data, or should I backup as much data as I can, then format? If anyone knows of any software that can help me, please share!
Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend not saving every porno flick you come across.

Also, Sixspathssenin is right.
You're probably not going to get very far here.

Yes, I am a culprit.
