As the name suggests 3T means 3 tomoe sharingan, which basically represents that in three tomoe, you have third tomoe in the eye of sharingan, giving you more advanced abilities. Sharingan is the dojutsu and KG of Uchiha clan and hence pretty unique ability to have in itself.
3 tomoe sharingan grants you some unique abilities, they are as follows:
1. Ability to see chakra color: Very basic ability, using which you can also predict if you are in genjutsu or not. Although Byakugan is more detailed when it comes to chakra, as you can even see tenketsus using it. Something not possible using sharingan.
2. Visual perception: Sharingan gives you ability to differentiate between normal clones. Also, it gives you ability to see through a genjutsu, but doesn't give you ability to see through denser object or doesn't give you ability to see at objects present at long distance, something that is true in case of byakugan.
3. Sharingan genjutsus: Sharingan gives you access to unique genjutsus, which are sharingan genjutsus. One can cast genjutsu on his opponent using simple eye contact, which is very big advantage of sharingan. You can even take complete control of person's body, which also worked on tailed beasts in manga.
4. Predicting opponents' moves: Sharingan can be used to closely follow the movement of your opponent as your opponent looks as if he is moving in slow motion. You can the mimic his movements so as to make it appear that you are 'seeing future'. Also, you can closely watch the handseals and accordingly predict the upcoming ninjutsu move or copy the handseals to perform the same move against opponent.
5. Genjutsu resistance: Using 3T sharingan, one can easily break out of B-Rank visual genjutsu. Also, there is a technique called as heaven and earth exchange(citation needed), which can be used to take control of opponent's genjutsu and reverse it on him/her. This makes sharingan masters pretty good with genjutsus and hence difficult to beat in genjutsu battles.
Now, about the difference between 3T and others, I must say 3T makes you better in abilities 1,2 and 4, while abilities 3 and 5 are specific to 3 tomoe sharingan only. This is the reason having 3 tomoe is an honorable ability.

Now when it comes to viewing chakra, youre able to see chakra past matter, but the sharingans abilities dont allow you to enhance your field of vision like the byakugan like increasing range of sight.The Sharingan only allows you to recognize that your under a genjutsu by seeing your own chakra irregularity. Meaning even though you have the sharingan active you can still be affected by an illusion. However it doesn't break through ALL genjutsu techniques automatically. Only visual ones, visual means that genjutsu that affects your sight making you see illusions and what not, however it's not the only genjutsu, there are genjutsus which makes you hear illusions..etc that's what the Sharingan is able to break through "only the visual genjutsu" others can't be broken through by the Sharingan even if they were C-B-ranks according to the tomoes you have, however most genjutsus are actually visual genjutsu but you have to be aware of what type of genjutsu is used onto you. For the 3 Tomoe, we'll have to go through 3 training sessions, , but as theres a session that says you have to find me in different locations im gonna ignore it, because its pretty much what you did in the second tomoe first session, now we'll move to the second session directly, learning how to break through up to B-rank genjutsu techniques, so lets proceed.

Sasuke activates his 3T sharingan without a moment's delay and then scans the area in front of him, as he sees that the clone has appeared in front of him out of nowhere. He observed that his sensei never performed the clone handseal required to form the clone, which was acceptable. What he found even more unacceptable was the fact that there was no smoke when the clone appeared in front of him. This was contradictory to the notion that clones generally appear with puff of smoke. Hence, the first thought that crossed Sasuke's mind was to check out if he is in genjutsu or not. So he checked his chakra flow and determined that he is in visual genjutsu and then used his 3T sharingan to break out of the genjutsu.u.u
Question: Does 3T sharingan sees through visual genjutsus automatically?? In short, do I need to specify how I determined that I was in genjutsu, just like I did above or is there any other way?? o.o

I run towards you while summoning a sword, then i move it with an irregular pattern, weaving it randomly in the air as i'm running towards you causing you to hallucinate multiple waving arms and not know where the sword is coming from, then i perform a horizontal slash from the right to the left to me.

Sasuke was about to rest for a bit, but it seems like his sensei wasn't going to give him any time to rest. As the next genjutsu started after very short amount of time.
Sasuke had sharingan activated and observed that his sensei started off with waving his sword back and forth and then suddenly started seeing multiple hands appear in front of him. These hands appeared out of nowhere and there was absolutely no signs of any ninjutsu being performed beforehand or any gathering of chakra around his sensei or something, which Sasuke figured out as he was monitoring his sensei using sharingan beforehand. Answer was clear, Sasuke was again put in a genjutsu. He checked his chakra flow and confirmed it. After confirming it, Sasuke used 3T sharingan to get himself out of the genjutsu.
Sasuke was just breaking out of the first genjutsu, when second one struck him. This time his sensei suddenly disappeared in front of him. It was suspicious but wasn't enough to confirm that it was genjtsu as it can very well be space time ninjutsu.
Then a bean sprout started appearing out of the ground from nowhere. This one was questionable since Sasuke never heard crackling of beans or never saw Korra spreading those beans on the ground. This underlined the fact that he is in genjutsu. After confirming his chakra flow, Sasuke used his 3T sharingan to dispel the genjutsu and hence effectively breaking out of it.

This jutsu is better alternative to something like Kai, which only dispels the genjutsu and doesn't reverse it on the enemy. Although, you are spot on with 1T and 2T part, which is obviously pointless in our RP. Also, I am assuming that since it doesn't mention what type of genjutsu can be reversed, I guess visual as well as non-visual genjutsus can be reversed back using it??
Rank of the reversed genjutsu will be same as the rank of the genjutsu my opponent put me into and hence this automatically restricts me, since I can't follow it up by layering of genjutsus if the original genjutsu itself was lower ranked. So, I guess usage is the key here.

Should you enter short range of a foe and they fail to keep their eyes off your's, then this is an ideal jutsu to use if you intend to capture your enemy. Causing them to fall asleep while still thinking they are awake, you can effectively kidnap them if used properly and in conjunction with other jutsus.

This one looks to me like a bit of fast genjutsu. You just run towards your opponent for CQC and then use eye contact while making bodily movements, to put him into the genjutsu. It will give him a feeling that he is seeing you, which he isn't in reality, enough to buy you the time to attack him with next jutsu or bodily movement of yours.
Its strength lies in its quickness and its weakness lies in type of this jutsu. It is visual genjutsu and hence it won't give his limbs the calm and soothing feeling, something that is usually accompanied with the sleep. It will only affect his vision and hence follow it up other basic genjutsus, to amplify the soothing or sleeping effect, which is its another usage in my opinion. One more drawback is, requirement of eye contact, which might be difficult to make in case of tai masters(the ones that know you shouldn't look into the eyes of your opponent if he wields sharingan) or against opponents that love using mist or blocking eyesight using similar jutsus.
So I need to make sure that I use this quick weapon properly and follow it up with some good jutsu or genjutsu for that matter.

Description: This technique is simply the use of generic genjutsu used by members of the Uchiha clan. By simply having their opponents look into their eyes, the Uchiha can lock the user within a genjutsu of their choosing.
Note: Can only be used with 3 tomoe sharingan
Possibly, the best Sharingan genjutsu there is. its used to make pretty much any genjutsu the user wishes "given that it's logical enough" through eye contact, yes, any genjutsu you want can be done by this technique, it doesn't mean posting a technique, only using your imagination to create a genjutsu, it doesn't mean that you have to use a cannon genjutsu through eye contact, the technique itself is a genjutsu, but the condition to meet for it is hard, which is mutual eye contact. The usage for this technique can vary, given that there are different types of genjutsu, it can be used as one to deceive your opponent, or paralyze them using chains or similar means, it can go as far as to control your opponent's movements and force them to do something "one of the Sharingan genjutsu's abilities", which is why custom Sharingan genjutsu is banned from submission, this technique compensates for that.

Possibly, the best Sharingan genjutsu there is. its used to make pretty much any genjutsu the user wishes "given that it's logical enough" through eye contact, yes, any genjutsu you want can be done by this technique, it doesn't mean posting a technique, only using your imagination to create a genjutsu, it doesn't mean that you have to use a cannon genjutsu through eye contact, the technique itself is a genjutsu, but the condition to meet for it is hard, which is mutual eye contact. The usage for this technique can vary, given that there are different types of genjutsu, it can be used as one to deceive your opponent, or paralyze them using chains or similar means, it can go as far as to control your opponent's movements and force them to do something "one of the Sharingan genjutsu's abilities", which is why custom Sharingan genjutsu is banned from submission, this technique compensates for that.

I completely agree with you, first one is similar to the butterfly genjutsu. Though butterfly genjutsu requires a handseal which makes it easier to detect as compared to this one. Being sharingan genjutsu, this requires mere eye contact, though using handseal to give my opponent feeling that my clones are shadow clones is a really good idea. The clone addition opens up the possibility of combining it with shadow clone explosion technique, which will make it remote detonation jutsu.
Although, I believe since my clones are nothing but kunais in real, I can't make them appear from behind or something, right??(correct me if I am wrong). This might be a downside of the jutsu and hence will open up possible way of releasing the genjutsu. I would also love to combine this one with shuriken shadow clone no jutsu to make it even more lethal.

This is the best genjutsu that I learnt by far and clearly underlines potential of sharingan. Requirement of eye contact is the only problem here, but I can compensate for it by using it in those scenarios where my opponent has to make eye contact with me. Such as another sharingan user or Byakugan user who has to keep track of my every movement. Also, what is the fun if you can't make opponent have an eye contact you by surprising you??
Try out something that will force him to look at you and producing a chance for eye contact. A surprise attack, taijutsu move or freeform or distraction are all viable options. It all depends upon how I achieve it. Another great thing about this genjutsu is, I can create scenarios till S-Rank, making it really powerful move. As far as I remember, Isabella Uchiha used this jutsu creatively against Madara Uchiha in their Akatsuki takeover fight.
One more thing I would like to point here out is, it doesn't have any restriction about scenarios,(provided that my scenarios are logical, but I don't really treat it as a restriction) which opens up a lot of possibilities, only restricted by my creativity.

A variation of the above, Itachi performed this in the anime and it was unnamed at the time, just known as an unspecified generic Sharingan genjutsu. This is one of the various jutsus they used. Looking at the foe's eyes, you trap them in this genjutsu where they believe their limbs are paper and as such, are scared to move their bodies much due to this fear.

Description: This is an advanced Sharingan technique the user traps the enemy in an illusion without any eye contact, similar to Ephermal. The Genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the users mercy.
One of the most useful ones, it doesn't require eye contact, but instead a general understanding of where your enemy is, can be done through senses or a clear line of sight. I can't find the exact scene it was found in the anime, but I have a picture of it below.

Sasuke was enthusiastic to know that finally his training is it B-Ranks. It was time for learn better genjutsus.
The first one can be really helpful in a tight situation. Such as if I am going to use a quick powerful jutsu which won't give much of a time to react to my opponent and he has to use a jutsu requiring handseals. Though I will make him unable to do so, but putting him in this jutsu. This will reduce his reactions(reducing their dexterity) and hence will give me opening if I am at CQC distance.
Downside of the jutsu is, it doesn't do damage and is only supplementary genjutsu and hence I need to do something like paper tag explosion to damage my opponent from point blank range. Whew, anyways good jutsu, but could have been a lot better.
Sasuke then went onto do the analysis of next jutsu.
As far as I remember this one was my nissan's favorite jutsu. It was really helpful in his case, since he had crow summoning contract which can go good with this genjutsu.
Although, it is really useful for me too, as it has some good advantages. First one being is, it doesn't require eye contact, but only general understanding of position of my opponent. That's where using something like Rain tiger at will or using opponent's previous jutsus to find his position comes into picture. Second, it is almost instantaneous jutsu. Third, since it engulfs my opponent in crows, I can even use it as a good distraction, while I go and attack my opponent from other side or something, also don't forget I can layer with other genjutsus.
Downside can be its range. I would have loved to see it being useful at long range, but sadly that isn't the case here.

It exists in some medium but I have yet to locate it. But anyway...it's essentially a genjutsu created through eye contact, that causes them to believe a lot of feathers have pierced the body and trapped them, causing them mental pain and preventing movement.

As this happens, the pain is intended to break the target's concentration and fall asleep. However, they likely won't and will stay woke, trying to resist the genjutsu. As this happens, they see their body parts changing into the faces and bodies of their old friends and allies, tormenting and ridiculing them. This mental torture is used with the goal of causing the enemy to pass out and faint in the genjutsu while forcing them to sleep in the real world. I remember Itachi ones told me about this genjutsu. He used to combine it with his crow summons, to amplify the results.
Sasuke wasn't interested in going back to past. Even though his past always used to haunt him in gruesome manner.
Sasuke already had his 3T activated and it seemed like his anger and memories of past amplified his hatred to activate cursed seal. Before the cursed seal could take over his body, Sasuke took a deep breath, regained control over his emotions and then shifted his mind to analyzing the technique.
I believe, this is useful only as a combination with bird summons or as a layered type genjutsu with something like flower petal escape. Overall decent sharingan genjutsu, but meh..there are better ones.
Sasuke then shifted a gaze to the detailing associated with the genjutsu.
Range is pretty good and I like the jutsu for it. Though note, it is of supplementary type and hence won't be able to cause high damage to the opponent. It is advisable that I follow it up with offensive jutsu or offensive genjutsu(something that has mental damage associated with it), to make increase the overall effect.

2. Despite of being sharingan genjutsu, it doesn't need eye contact. I make my opponent notice my hand in closed combat and then put him in genjutsu, rather than taijutsu attack, effective and evasive way to put him in genjutsu. There can be many other good ideas and combos.
3. It has 'dual effects'. First is the effect achieved due to kunais, which will physically harm my opponent and second is friend taunting, which will mentally disturb him, giving him very less to focus on the battle at hand, unless he breaks out of it.
4. It can be effectively combined with many genjutsus, such as 'mist servent', which will make him think of my clone appearing out of nowhere, when my opponent's clone(let's assume that he already has few in the battlefield) will taunt him or something. The kunai effect can be combined with multiple weapon techniques, leading to damage due to them plus damage due to genjutsu.
