:lol Crying @ this guy comparing Bringer of Darkness to Ocular Genjutsu. You don't "break" Bringer of Darkness. It's a visual Genjutsu that affects you if you can see. Can you break the Mizukage's Genjutsu? No. :lol You can't. Not to mention it's an A-Rank Genjutsu. So it's not low leveled. Hashirama not specializing in Genjutsu doesn't mean he wasn't good at it. Shit logic.

Calling it a basic genjutsu is laughable given there's no justification for that statement, but Hiruzen couldn't dispel it(assuming that's even possible with that genjutsu) because he'd already begun Shiki Fuujin after creating two shadow clones. So his chakra was spent, his body was immobilized with summoning the death god, and then after the death god had been summoned, he was on a time limit so it seems rather than waste the time to dispel(assuming that's possible with that genjutsu), he just used his sense of smell and captured both edo kages(since that's something he had to accomplish regardless). Claiming he couldn't dispel it is saying two things: It's possible, which we don't know for sure. And two that he wanted to anyway, given he was on short time and had other methods of stopping the technique.

Being caught by the sharingan genjutsu requires staring an uchiha in the eyes, which if you're going to try and argue Hiruzen is stupid enough to do, there's no reason for us to continue our conversation.

There's no intel so it is possible. I still think Hiruzen wins this though.

Lol. Maybe because Mizukage's Genjutsu was maintained by the clam? Like continuously? You dispel it and you're caught again. While Bringer of Darkness was cast once and that's it.

And you of all people bringing up rank to the table? That's really sad. Temple of Nirvana is also A-rank jutsu, yet it was dispeled by P1 Sakura. So cut your bullshit.

Not to mention Hiruzen was said to know all Konoha jutsu and was called master of one thousand illusions. No comment.

Loophole: Susano'o can be used blind, therefore a 3T restricted Madara can use Susano'o. GG Hiruzen.

Hiruzen almost stomps him.

-5 elements>>Madara's Katon. Or rather multiple giant Suiton>>>Madara's Katon.

-Hiruzen and Enma>>Madara w/o Gunbai in CQC.

-Shadow Fuhma Shuriken Clone spam is very dangerous for Madara here as well since he has no shield or Gunbai, and his Ninjutsu can easily be overpowered by Hiruzen's own if he tries to use it as a shield.

So yeah, Hiruzen low-mid diff.

If Madara has his gunbai do you think it can change the outcome?

Nope. Only increases the difficulty. Hiruzen's Ninjutsu is too powerful.

:lol No you clown. You don't dispel it because it is a Genjutsu that acts based on visual perception. The clam releases a mist and that covers the battlefield and that mist causes the people inside of it or the people perceiving it to see mist. Where is this "dispel it and it is used again" bullshit coming from? Oh wait, nowhere but your imagination.

Mist triggers Genjutsu. Mist is present on the battlefield. When you dispel Genjutsu you're caught again because the mist is still present.

But I guess this is too difficult for you to understand. Expected nothing less from you. No arguments so you start insulting people. Disgusting.

lmao shut your dumbass up. You are inventing drivel that fits what you think is correct. If you aren't going to provide anything more than your garbage opinion you can do me a favor and stop quoting me.

-Nowhere in the Manga was is stated that Mist triggers Genjutsu in the same sense looking into a Sharingan user's eye triggers Genjutsu.

-It was explicitly stated that the mist causes people to see illusions. That's it. This is in the Manga. The above is your opinion. F*ck your opinions we argue with facts.

But I guess this is too difficult for you to understand. Expected nothing less from you. No counter argument so you start crying and moaning about insults to deflect from the fact you make no sense. Disgusting.

Clam Genjutsu

Summoning a Giant Clam (literally an oriental clam), a large quantity of steam jets out covering the environment of the surrounding region to exhaustion. Water Particle membrane reflecting light, infinite mirror images are produced, enemies eyesight is fooled. It creates many mirages of the person in order to protect oneself.

Clam releases steam that makes people see illusions. Clam casts Genjutsu using steam as catalyst. Kabuto used falling feathers as trigger. Itachi uses eye contact. Madara used moonlight.

But there's no point in arguing with you. You will deny all sorts of facts to proceed with your selfwank.

Try reading what you post dumbass. Water particles reflect light to create mirror images of the person. Many mirages. That's not the same thing as an item, object or thing being used to trigger a hallucinatory type Genjutsu. These are mirages created because of water and light. Thanks for proving my point. You and all who agree with you make no sense as usual.

Lmao this guy has the nerve to talk about facts but reading a 3 sentence entry is too complicated for him to do. :lol Fuck outta here.

Mirages created because of water and light exist only because Clam keeps on maintaining the mist/steam. This is the source of Genjutsu. No mist = no Genjutsu. Mist = continuous Genjutsu, because even if you dispel its effect on your senses, you will get caught again because mist is still there => water particles reflecting light are still there.

You really are grasping at straws.

Now I know that you know you are wrong, you are just too butthurt to admit it. This is the part you've yet to support with fact. Where is this dispel nonsense coming from? You dispel Genjutsu by disrupting your chakra. This doesn't play with your chakra in any way, shape or form like regular Genjutsu. This makes you see mirages because light reflects off of the water particles that make up the mist excreted by the clam.

Mist Genjutsu: Creates mirages in the real world by reflecting light off of the water particles.
Regular Genjutsu: Creates images INSIDE THE MIND of the target by "controlling" the chakra in the brain.

Thus you cannot dispel Mist Genjutsu or any Genjutsu that works on the visual sense because it is in the real f*cking world. Meanwhile regular Genjutsu is in the mind of the target.

I hope you aren't dumb enough to respond with some other shit after this.

It uses Chakra because it is Genjutsu, not a natural phenomenon. Yin release you know? The mist is imbued with chakra because if it wasn't, this Genjutsu wouldn't even be a Genjutsu.

I never said it doesn't use chakra clown. I said it doesn't take control of the chakra in the brain. Two completely different things. Stop replying to me and go re-read about Genjutsu, Ninjutsu and chakra cause you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Just too butthurt to admit that you were 1000% wrong. Single digit IQ ass.

Ok Mr. Smartass, then tell me why this jutsu is classfied as Yin Release if chakra spent on it does not affect one's perception and senses in any way.

:lol Holy....you've got to be trolling.

1. It does. Chakra is spent to make mist which makes people see mirages. (affecting perception and senses)
2. That doesn't mean chakra is being controlled in the BRAIN OF THE GODDAMN VICTIM.
3. That is how SHARINGAN GENJUTSU operates.

Mist Genjutsu: Creates mirages in the real world by reflecting light off of the water particles.
Regular Genjutsu: Creates images INSIDE THE MIND of the target by "controlling" the chakra in the brain.

Read this over and over and over again until it clicks. This ain't rocket science.

and why does that matter since it causes illusion that alone makes it genjutsu. All genjutsu are yin release since they create/induce illusion out of nothing

Datbook 1

Genjutsu

Hypnosis and illusionism to confuse the mind…

It’s some kind of hypnotic technique that drags the target’s mind to an illusory world and may cause confusion or physical/mental exhaustion. The main difference from other jutsu is that it does not directly affects the user’s body. There are many types of Genjutsu that may be used to attack or give a handicap to those who use them.

Advantages: It’s hard to detect who used it. Not only that, there can be many targets all at once.

Disadvantages: Prolonged use exhausts the user and it hardly deals physical damage to the target.

The target falls in the trap without realizing it…

But there's a guy here that says it's water particles that create the illusion. Meaning it's a natural phenomenon, not Genjutsu. Which is 100% bullshit.
