Actually a couple of pages later Deidara asked Sasuke how he survived when he saw him dying to the bombs. Sasuke said it was genjutsu. I'm on my phone, can't post the scan. But yeah, Deidara was caught. He would get killed by someone faster than. Hebi Sasuke.
