Interesting match up... I wouldnt say Genjutsu is of a high factor here since it's only 3T and not MS, that being said sasuke should be capable of breaking out of a 3T genjutsu from Itachi. It all comes down to has better speed,reflexes, and taijutsu which Itachi has displayed better use of against sasuke during the dsm kabuto fight and when they fought each other at Itachi's hideout.

With the use of body clone explosions and crow feints and overall more intelligence and battle wits Itachi can pull off a win, regarding sasuke's katon, Itachi has displayed suiton techniques without needing a water source so that right there is already a counter to sasuke's katon if needed. I give this to Itachi honestly. But that isnt to say sasuke can't pull off a win.

Sasuke broke out Tsukiyomi with his 3T. None of Itachi's genjutsu are working.

Kirin? Well first off you have to understand kirin is circumstantial in this case, when sasuke first used it against Itachi, zetsu commented on how sasuke used itachi's amaterasu to help heat up the atmosphere to make the process of kirin faster. Now that MS in restricted in this case kirin will only take longer, but I do admit if sasuke does manage to pull off kirin in these conditions then it's pretty much GG for Itachi.

Kirin is too massive to be used on close combats. Sasuke won't be able to pull that off even if he manages to heat up the atmosphere. Kirin blasted a mountain. No way Itachi is letting him outrun him enough to use it at a safe distance. People never factor Kirin's range in VS threads.

Itachi would win with 3 Tomoe.. If he doesn't use MS, he would take the battle more seriously.
His MS hurt when Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi because he hurts everytime he uses MS jutsu.
3 Tomoe Itachi genjutsu is still superior and his range is great . Itachi is still a genius . If they were out to kill each other, Itachi wouldn't take anything lightly . :itachi:

Itachi is a better overall ninja. Kenjutsu is Sasuke's forte since he was trained by Oro and before saying his fire style is stronger, don't forget that Itachi was on his deathbed. Look at what a 30% Itachi clone could pull off in terms of Katon and you will have a better look of what a not-dying Itachi could do.

Itachi was able to fight against KillerB while Sasuke was overwhelmed. His shuriken jutsu is the best we've seen too.

I don't think it works like that. Chidori Nagashi will give Sasuke a couple of meters at best and that's not enough for him to not be in range to use Kirin. Kirin won't win him this fight. And how does 3T Sasuke heat up the atmosphere ? There is no Amaterasu this time around

yeah they would , if he used them intelligently . x) If this is Sasuke without Orochimaru's help, Itachi still wins. :itachi:

Nagashi could work at some point, but if they're out to kill Itachi wouldn't waste time like he does with all his other opponents. Itachi's sharingan reads intentions a lot better, plus Itachi can fight blind and deaf successfully , and while under paralysis jutsu all at the same time. Itachi reads Sasuke a lot better than Sasuke reads Itachi.

Sasuke wins this mid-high diff. He pretty much already dealt with everything 3-Tomoe Itachi has in his arsenal in the manga and pushed him to use MS techniques.

-His speed isn't anything he can't handle.

-His offense isn't anything he can't match or block due to the Curse Mark's enhancements.

-Genjutsu isn't a factor here.
