He can't counter Tsukuyomi, he is too slow for Amaterasu and is inferior to Susanoo in regards of offensive, defense, range and probably speed. Despite being fast, the alliance was able to dodge Sandaime Raikage's attacks to an extent. Dodging Susanoo's attacks prove more difficulties. Objectively, there is no way Raikage can win.

No real reason to believe the Sandaime isn't capable of doing the same thing. And the knowledge is full, he's not going to be caught in tsukuyomi.

Susanoo is a problem, but he can outlast Itachi by simply evading until Itachi's chakra runs out.

I understand Itachi is awesome and all..but he's not fighting some fodder here. He's fighting the man who was capable of stalemating Gyuki and fighting 10,000 men for 3 days.

yes itachi is indeed awesome and bad deal for sandaime raikage, in all area's of battle. sandaime is close combat guy, all his attacks rely on making contact with enemy, if he try go trough susanoo totsuka is something he cant pass, if he know to look down when facing sharingan any mangekyo ninjutsu will kill the dude, and itachi is able to cast any of his major mangekyo sharingan moves in split second,

there is no way to raikage to win, but i give him this... itachi might be forced to use mangekyo..
