Ok thought i would make a change from the usual threads we see and make a Vs thread .. i dont see many of these anymore lol

Gaara Vs 3rd Raikage

Both have full Knowledge of each other

Now debate who you think would win and how and why.. people may counter other peoples points and come up with unique strategys ect..

I will be debating for Gaara

No attack of gaara can arm 3rd raikage. If he brawl with the 8 tail physically then he can tear through gaara's offence and defence. He also has more stamina since fought 3 days and night without food and rest.

yes however gaara has the advantage by starting off at long range giving him time to infuse the ground with chakra.. the rocks around the battlefeild can also prove for a usefull distraction and defence for a short while... also even though 3rd raikage has a strong offence Gaara's defence is also very strong i dont think the 3rd raikages attack would penetrate the sand so easily... however im not saying it wont piere at all

also Gaara has the option to keep himself out of range by using the sand to lift himself into the air creating an even more advantageou position

bare in mind that Gaara can create a huge desert if needed and even if it doesnt crush the 3rd Raikage it can still make him suffocate.. also its not always about who is stronger but how smart they are in battle

3rd raikage has a great chance of winning if he manages to get in combat.. 3rd Raikage hasnt been shown to be the fastest of ninja but deffinetly has a great offense.. even more so that his defence..

However if Gaara is smart about how he fights he has the potential to win aswell

actually i dont think it was stated that the 3rd raikage was particularly fast.. he was known for his great offense and defence and also his black lightning...

4th raikage is known for his speed and strength

garaa would probably lose because his weakness is probably speed.
when fighting lee, he couldnt move his snd quick enough.
the raikage is probably million times faster.
garra hasnt been beaten up enough to feel pain.
if he gets hit HARD once, hell probably die.
and to conclude.
raikage cause garra is near death in his current state after madara.

well i agree if 3rd Raikage can get in close then he would effectively reck Gaara xD however i dont think the 3rd Raikage is that fast :/ if he is can someone show me a manga page showing this speed of his.. or atleast it being stated... Gaara can also stay out of range and bury the 3rd Raikage under 3 tons if not more of sand

], his durability is also a key factor in this match and as Gaara doesn't know about his scar he has no way to put him down. Also the Third's Hell stab was powerful enough to go through a rubber wall and a flowing earth wall [

now even if 3rd raikage can tank gaara's sand which is most likely gaara being able to change the terrain to his advantage will give gaara the edge a bit.. 3rd raikages speed will also decrease on sand as it is harder to run on sand than it is solid ground since the sand moves under your feet..

also gaara can take to the skies getting out of the raikages range .. if raikage has decent jumping abilitie then he could reach him using the rocks however i dont know about this...

True Gaara can fly but, the 3rd has got his long range Black Panther and as he trained Darui in Black Lightning [

. Furthermore, he has no way to kill the Raikage who is extremely quick himself and has better stamina. Staying in the air would only prolong the battle without changing the outcame because Gaara would be outlasted.

3rd Raikage wins, the fight can either go like this.

-Raikage rips through all of his sand with Nukite until he finally gets to Gaara.
-Gaara takes flight, evades the Raikage and his sand still ends up getting ripped through, meaning he gets outlasted as no one can hit each other. Though the Raikage should be able to use Black Panther to shoot Gaara out of the air. He did teach it to Darui after all.
