reason?
3rd Raikage can destroy naraka path and any other path except for petra before any of the other notices........ at the end leaving just Petra alone which I doubt would be a threat alone in regular taijutsu fight.
The advantage of being nagato and not the 6 paths of pain..... While being Nagato you don't risk getting your paths destroyed and losing that ability, so the person that wants to defeat a single path would have to beat the person itself with all the offensive and defensive abilities it has...
For example:
*3rd raikages attacks at light speed deva path and naraka
but then......
that just leaves 4 paths
*3rd raikage attacks NAGATO at light speed
but then.....
nagato can petra path the attack and shinra tensei back.... and resulting in not a lose of any paths....
this is why:
