3rd Raikage's speed is in fact, not Itachi's weakness. Itachi has the sharingan. Which means he can read and see 3rd Raikages movements.

The OP also forgot to mention Itachi's feats aswell as the 3rds counter's to them ( eg: Tsukuyomi, Izanami,Izanagi,Lv3 Susanoo)

Actually everyone has a weakness in a certain area to some extent, but only if you have to tools to exploit it. In saying that yes Itachi can see the 3rd's movements via sharingan but can he physically move his body in time. Which I doubt, but then again Itachi has Susanoo + yata mirrior for defensive purposes but the 3rd has his 1 finger jutsu or watever. From their on its pure speculation. But tbh Susanoo + Yata > 1 finger jutsu or watever.

Well if that's his strength then why not exploit it ?. Though I do admit, that such a simple tactic can trump such high level shinobi sounds ludicrous at the same time it also makes sense.

Yea but the 3rd easily overpowers and is a bad match up for itachi but people still think he can one shot a kage with Genjutsu, because thats all he has left

Idk why ppl say this is the wrong section, this isn't a vs. thread. Nonetheless, I agree the 3rd Raikage has the feats to defeat Itachi, the ONLY PROBELM WOULD tsukyomi and that's if he started off with it.

As the 3rd Raikage has speed near the level of A's, once leveled up it is easy to avoid eye contact, as A way able to run around Sasuke while his eyes weren't able to keep up.

As there are three ways of breaking genjutsu other than tsukyomi, this is very much so possible as is it a fact.

A has the same lightning armour , and couldn't break a basic sharingan genjutsu by Madara..... You sir are severly underestimating what genjutsu is capable of..
