now i know that your gonna get really mad at first but hear me out on this. how is the 1st hokage going to beat the third raikage? raikage wins on speed, strength, and chakra reserves and im pretty sure hashirama couldnt even put a scratch on him seeing as how the rasenshuriken and a tbb couldnt lets remember that the 3rd raikage beat the 8 tails with one finger as well while hashi had a hard time beating the 9 tails as did the 4th hokage and dont say that the 9 tails is more powerful than the 8 tails just because of the tails because the hachibi said to the nine tails "you know as well as i do that the number of tails doesnt determine power level" and he has the elemental advantage

Do agree that the 3rd would cause the 1st great problems because he clearly has the elementary advantage and we have already seen that wood doesnt fair to well with lightning. Added to this is his speed and durability i cannot see wood restricting him. Saying all this i believe hashirama would win with high difficulty

Hashirama had control of all the bijus at one time, what makes you think he cant easily defeat the kyubi, he also defeate it and madara at the same time? Kyubi is the strongest, hachibi said he wasnt first but when the kyubis TBB tanked that combined TBB the hachibi changed its mind and said the kyubi is the strongest after all. Having said all that I agree that he will give him a really tough fight but imo hashirama wins this.

Well if I recall correctly Wood has 2 weaknesses. Lightning and Fire.

Uchiha Madara has fire specialty as any other uchiha and Hashirama beat him whilst he had the the elemental advantage + The nine tails as well.

And so because of that I wouldn't expect the Raikage to beat Hashirama by himself. U_U

I think the 1st would win this, because he has much more experience,can control the bijjus,has strong healing powers & lot more variety of jutsus than the 3rd raikage.

Hashirama uses water and earth to create wood as such earth is weak to raiton but wood is a good insulator so his electrical attacks would be nullified. Now for that stab attack of 3rd raikage, Hashirama can heal without even hand signs. Being a natural senju has lot of chakra reserves, fought a sharingan user, Madara who is or was renowned as the best. To survive an ultimate sharingan user is really something. All we know about 3rd raikage is he managed to defeat 8tails and endured 3000 ninjas for few days. Now my question is why 3000 ninjas were after the cloud ninjas? Imo they are like less powerful ninjas, well an elite group wont be in thousands obviously.

3rd isnt a strategical ninja. Fighting an oponent who can also survive physical damage will only give the opponent time to figure out a way to kill him. In the case of 1st who probably have seal, gen, chlorophyll, etc he will be **** with high diff. His elemental adv wont mean shit with hashi's healing durabilty as well.
