Why will they panic and if this wasn't a sharingan genjutsu then would they panic?

Yes. The panic is more directed towards the Kamihada, with their body suddenly starting to turn to ash in their eyes, they would initially panic as any person would. I don't think the Sharingan being the one to instill the Genjutsu matters. Yes, making eye contact right before could tip them off, but I believe it's the fact that they don't feel heat on their bodies despite turning to ash that would make them realize that it's a genjutsu, not the fact that it's a Sharingan jutsu.

Sharingan genjutsu is more powerful thus why you can control how the person under the genjutsu might feel. In a regular genjutsu this wouldn't happens as you don't know how they would feel. etc... get it?

lolol I'll rephrase. With the genjutsu, since it's Sharingan and a higher level than normal genjutsu, I can make them feel the sensation of heat on their bodies as though they were actually on fire, so when they see themselves turning to ash, they'd think it was actually something wrong with them and that they were really burning.

Description: An illusion were the user simple points at the target and if the target glances at the pointing hand they fall into a genjutsu where they first see birds and then they turn to kunai that attack them.They are future damaged by being tortured by images of there friend insulting them.
Note:This is an advanced sharingan genjutsu.

Write out a first move with this jutsu as if you were in a battle.

The description makes it pretty clear what Ketataumo is used for. Other than immobilizing the target, the constant pain of the technique works to not only damage the victim, but break their concentration, making it a difficult genjutsu to break free from.

*Ace faces his opponent and flows chakra into his eyes, activating his Sharingan. Ace then begins forming fake handseals with his hands elevated to his neck. As he does, Ace channels chakra from his Sharingan and into his finger. As he forms the fake seals, the opponent looks at Ace's hands to read them and get an idea of what jutsu he may use. Using his Sharingan to track the subtle movements of the opponent directing his eyes at his hands, Ace times the point just right, pointing his index finger at the clone right as it looks at his hands. At this moment, Ace flows chakra from his finger into the clone, instilling the Ephemeral genjutsu on him.*

Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear infront of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time. (This was shown by sasuke against Shi)
Note: Must have tomoe 3 to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

Yuo create a shadowy figure with eyes of the sharingan as a genjutsu. They ar ein pitch black darkness except for the eyes which leaves them paralyzed

(Doujutsu: Hazumi no Reikon) - Eye Technique: Bound by Soul Technique

Description: The user will cast a genjutsu that immobilizes the target. In the genjutsu the target is bound to a leaf spinning around in the dark. This technique temporarily binds the target leaving them open to attack. (this technique is shown when sasuke tried to bind killer bee in genjutsu but to ill effect from being released by his bijuu).
Note: Must have tomo 3 sharingan and bind lasting 1 turn.

Almost the same as the above but with a leaf.
