[Suggestion] 3 Suggestions

Hey there whoever is reading this thread.
Today I've got 3 suggestions for you guys, they're all rather small if you ask me.

1st suggestion

Create a ''Post a suggestion'' format.
I've seen it on many other forums and that really does make things easier for the writer and reader.
Here is an example of a format.

2nd suggestion

I have recently joined my first NB group, and it's quite irritating having to go back to it every single time to see if there is a new thread.
I'm suggesting an option to ''follow'' or ''subscribe'' to the threads in the group section or to ''subscribe''/''follow'' the group itself, so you can receive a notification with each post and/or thread created.

3rd suggestion

The Manga, Anime & Comics Discussion section gets numerous threads created every single day asking ''Do you guys have any anime/manga to suggest me?''.
So, what I'm suggesting is making a thread (which should be made sticky) giving a list of anime, and rather than having people search it in an alphabetical order, they can simply use [Ctrl+F] to find what they're searching for.

That makes things much easier if you were to search for something, and we would have a lot of anime and manga which could be divided by genre, and we could just add a short summary taken from myanimelist.
But of course, this thread should be updated every now and then, which I don't see happening with most threads.

I would also like to suggest that every time someone replies to your post/quotes you that you receive a notification, as it is also easier to reply to them rather than having to go back to each thread to see if someone replied to you.

Can this be a suggestion also- notifications should be sent if someone quotes you. It would save so much time. You can disable this feature if you don't want it.

For your second suggestion, you can already subscribe to groups. Even tho it won´t send you a notification when there are new posts in there, when there´s something new in that group (New comment or new thread), the name of the group will appear as bolded.

How to subscribe to group:
When you´re in your group, you´ll see a "Group Tool" on the upper right corner of the group´s description. Click on it and a list will appear. You´ll have the last item of the item as "Subscribe to this group". There you can subscribe to it. After you´ve subscribed to it, go to your User CP. The group will appear there.

As one of the users have already mentioned, there is indeed an option available to subscribe to the threads. (e.g.: on top of your first post, there is a button labelled as "Thread tools". A drop down menu will appear, click on the "subscribe to this thread" and you are done. (Same applies to a particular section, if you want to subscribe to a dedicated forum. The only change is that it says "subscribe to the forum", instead of thread)

I think a "The 'suggest me an anime' thread" (sticky) would be a better idea than compiling a list in a single post, which will be (eventually) hard to keep up to date. Users can simply post their questions in that thread, instead of individual threads.

I have seen that particular feature before. And I have to admit, it is pretty handy.

Ah... I didn't consider the number of posts. My bad.
Well, a properly functioning server is always preferred over the annoying 503s. So, I guess we can live without the quote feature.

1) This is something people automatically should do and if they don't, we do as to accept a suggestion we always first consider the pro's and con's. Quite pointless to make a 'template' just for that.

2) Already exists.

3) We have a subsection where you can write and read reviews + a section where you can find a manga guide and apparently Ira is working on something.

4) Suggested many times before and that only works on a small forum. It creates quite a strain on the forums seen the amount of posts that continuously get quoted.

People should read other´s people´s reply before posting in my opinion.
