Why did he teach Darui how to use black lightning and not his son?

Maybe Darui was his own student back when he was a Jonin lvl ninja and he thought he was powerful enough to use it wisely and strongly.

I was wondering the same thing. If it was a manga chapter i'd say "flashback in 3..2..1..." but since the anime moves much faster i doubt we will see a flashback showing why.

Somewhere along the story though i guess the 4th raikage dissapointed the 3rd someway enough to not be granted it.

Because A's just not black enough?

We don't know for now.
I lol'd.

Perhaps Sandiame Raikage didn't take on his son as a pupil because he thought it would be good for his son to learn from someone else. As for Darui maybe he liked him and took him on as a pupil and saw that he was talented enough to use it.

Maybe it was because it wouldn't suit his fighting style... his a nin-taijutsu fighter... so he uses ninjutsu to amplify his taijutsu... therefore such a think as black lightning wouldn't suit him as he doesn't really use jutsu. Unless of course he could have used it like he uses his regular lightning in which case i have no idea... maybe it doesn't have the same properties (like increasing speed and reflexes)
