Question. Kazekage had the unique ability to use iron sand. He could also use his chakra to create magnetism within his iron sand or something. Can someone explain to me how sasori kidnapped and then killed the 3rd kazekage even though puppets are weak against his iron sand?

I think He assasinated him, he has most powerful poisons in narutoverse. He attacked sneakly and simply poisoned him, and he's respected shinobi in Hidden Sand in these times, they don't expect this from him, then kidnapped. It's my opinion

On naruto wiki it says he kidnapped then assassinated him. Now, as strong as he is, shouldn't he be able to suspect something like this?

I don't know where but it is stated that the Sand is cursed with losing all of their kage to assassinations. I think Chiyo mentions that during their fight with Sasori.

So I think he assassinated him with poison of some sort.

In order to use the forbidden tech to transform a human to a puppet and keep the KG/Ability"s the human has to be alive. Thus the conclusion that he was poisoned. The 3rd vanished with out a trace of fighting or and trail of where he might of went.

Because they couldnt believe he could ever lose (this is when minato, sarutobi, sannins were alive btw) it caused a shinobi war over his disappearance. The only logical explanation that could of happened is poisoned and kidnapped.

who knows? maybe he spiked his drink or stabbed him in the back. sasoris better than tsunade who jiraiya said is the only one who can poison someone without them realising
