I know alot of people hold ill against naruto, because naruto's female ninja pale in comparison to the badassery that is nico robin and Nami. however that is not true there are three women essential to the plot, that while not as intwined as nico robin and nami are just important. these three are vital to the plot without them there would be no naruto the series. .

Tsunade, the fifth hokage. She is by far the greatest of all the female characters in the entire series. She beleives in naruto with all her heart.

tsunade is an amazing character, pure in heart, noble and true to her ninja way, she has been constantly involved in the plot, sending naruto to train in mount myuboku, sending him to train to master the rasenshuriken. etc etc, without her naruto would be immensely weaker.

althougth the daughter from a rich family, she has become a true warrior and has the most character development of all the females in the entire story. Changing from a shy lonely girl with no dreams to a leader of the hyuuga clan, with a bright heart to the future.

temari will always be epic, she is a serious level-headed and will not hesitate to beat anyone down into the ground. she is a excellent shinobi, with widom and skill beyond her years. In the chuunin exams she easily whiped the floor with tentent and even blocked one of rock lees attacks, and then she then pwned the female sound ninja with 0 effort. She guided her section in the fourth great shinobi war, being a fearless leader. She has constantly been leading squads and being just an amazing shinobi without an equal.

Part 1 sakura was useless, no one can doubt that, the only notbale thing she did, was when she, Rock lee, Ino, shikamaru and choji teamed up to keep sasuke and naruto safe from the sound ninja. then all of a sudden in part 2 we get a firm amazing powerful character that is concerned about the hero fighting for her village. I am pretty sure we all did a double take when she nearly took out kakashi in their reunion. She became intense helping the aged chiyo defeated the akatsuki memeber Sasori. Then all of a sudden Sakura de-evolved back into the useless part 1 sakura. She then became worse than she did in part 1 when she briefly became a villain. Even trying to stop the hero from attaining his dream of saving his friend, by lying to him.
