Sharingan , or Copy Wheel Eye , is a Dojutsu Kekkei Genkai , which is common on Uchiha members . It has three main stages , that are 1/2/3 Tomoe , but there's aslo Mangekyou and Eternal Mangekyou , which are the strongest stages of the sharingan . Now I'm again gonna explain the sharingan's stages .
1 Tomoe
To awaken it , one must go through a stressful and dangerous training . 1 Tomoe allows the user perceive motions and see chakra . When activated , the user can track speeds , however , not very high speeds , since it's only one tomoe sharingan . They can see through D rank Genjutsu , also can follow most of moves that can be done by using Taijutsu . The 1 tomoe allows the user to have good reactions too , since they can see the flow of chakra molded in the opponent's body , and they can quickly tell whats going on . The user can also predict the opponent's attacks .
2 Tomoe
Now it allows the user to precieve motions , and also to copy the motions he has precieved as long as his body handles the motions . Now the user gains a better understanding for the sharingan , and is more experienced on it . Now , the user can anticipate and analyze faster movements . 2T tracks higher speed , and as well can read the handseals and predict what the foe is gonna do next . Now , the user can see through C rank Genjutsu . To sum up , 2 Tomoe is clearly and obviously superior to 1T , in all aspects .
3 Tomoe
This is the final stage of a regural sharingan . It allows the user to perceive motions, copy the motions perceived, and predict motions . Using it carefully the user can track and keep up with an amazing speed , and also mimic the oppoenent's moves , almost perfectly . It can also copy jutsus . The user can now pierce through visual B rank genjutsu and below . Unlike 1T and 2T , the user can hypnotize the target , however this can only be done on targets one rank below the user and through eye contact . Now basically the user has mastered the basic abilities of the sharingan .
Now onto the two final stages , as well as strongest , Mangekyou Sharingan and eternal mangekyou sharingan .
To awaken the mangekyou , one must witness a loved one dying , or just kill him/her himself . the ability to predict the movements of the opponent greatly incerases and as well can copy any technique except KG jutsus . MS can break through A rank genjutsu . if the user has gained full mastery over Genjutsu, he gains the ability to cast any and every genjutsu without the need for Handseals through simple eye contact . But the only flaw of this is that if you use too mmuch MS , it will cause blindness . however , if you have EMS , you cannot go blind anymore . to achieve EMS you need to steal your siblings eyes , and transplant them . Now the user is highly skilled in any ability of Sharingan , if not he has perfected all of them . The three main abilities one gains through MS and EMS are Amaterasu , Susano'o , and Tsukuyomi , which are hailed as one of most strongest abilities on NarutoVerse .
