Using an AOE suiton like water dome would encompass the clam allowing Kisame to detect it (he sees where the water is not touching and knows the clam is there.) Or Kisame can summon sharks which can detect the clam through use of

. Joki Boy explosions are tanked. All that's left is for Kisame to drain the Mizukage of chakra. Only way Mizukage could even potentially put down Kisame is through a water bullet to the brain, and he isn't entering close range when Kisame can surround himself with a water prison as protection then quickly detect the Mizukage and absorb his chakras with Samehada until he dies.

i don't really know, but isn't water dome useless against someone of the hozuki clan who can easily turn to water with liquifying their body ?
Kisames weakness is genjutsu and with the staring distance of long range i think kisame will fall for gengetsus genjutsus.

2 mizukages clone is very fast (was able to dodge gaaras sand which was able to react to ay and amaterasu (okay thats not that logical, but kisame isn't the fastest))
the boil clone of gengetsu uses an ice blade which can cut off kisames head

Even if kisame is able to tank an explosion of the boiling clone the damage would be still great and maybe separates kisame from samehada.

I think the 2 mizukage takes it high diff

IC and in a actual canon battle, i'd say the Mizukage would win.
Judging by their known jutsus, Kisame can't track Gengetsu, but Gengetsu can't take down Kisame with anything less than Steam Imp, which would leave him very vulnerable and isn't a sure win (Kisame could counter with Water Clones and absorb Steam Imp with Super Shark Bomb). In other words, i go with Kisame, high-diff.

Kisame doesn't jump straight to his top tech, that's not the way it works. And there's no indication that sharks made out of water have the biological attributes of real sharks either; they're just the result of Suiton shape transformation. Jouki Boi can't be tanked either since it wields an axe and even if it didn't, it's tyranny is infinite.

To top it off, Mizudeppou isn't a short range technique either.

Kisame doesn't jump straight to his top tech, that's not the way it works. And there's no indication that sharks made out of water have the biological attributes of real sharks either; they're just the result of Suiton shape transformation. Jouki Boi can't be tanked either since it wields an axe and even if it didn't, it's tyranny is infinite.

To top it off, Mizudeppou isn't a short range technique either.

1. If Kisame realizes the clam is invisible, and realizes that water dome can detect it, then he WILL use that technique whether it's his strongest jutsu or not. Or he can use a lake like he did against Team Gai
2. I was referring to Kisame's actual shark summons, not his water sharks

Joki Boy explosions are tanked and healed via Samehada, and Kisame can quickly turn the environment in his favor with water dome so if JB attacks with its axe, the water pressure would reduce the force of the axe meaning Kisame can tank or heal from it. Besides, that axe's best feat is cutting through a sand clone which is way less durable than Kisame.
