The 2nd Mizukage starts the fight 100 feet away from the others. Assume this is enough time to activate his genjutsu. Who takes it?

Where is the evidence Sasori is immune to genjutsu? There is none. Nor is this a visual genjutsu, so you can't argue he's immune because he lacks eyes or whatever. And how the heck does he "solo" the Mizukage, when the Mizukage has everyone else attacking him during this (thinking Sasori is him)? Not that I see any evidence Sasori is immune to a genjutsu that fools even sensors.

your seriously overrating 2nd mizu if you think he can fight 6 kage level shinobi at once by himself. he cant damage kimimaro or kakuzu. kisame can sense and find his clam by fusing with his sword, then sasoris iron sand destroys it. then hanzo poisons the **** out of the mizukage.

Sasori can't be affected by Genjutsu.

cant be affected by visual genjutsu. the clam genjutsu is cast on the entire battlefield via the mist released from the clam.

Sure he can. Either with his exploding clone, or by making them damage each other while they're trapped in the genjutsu. Let's not overrate guys like Kimimaro, please. Kimimaro couldn't break through the sand of a much, much weaker version of Gaara. The Mizukage can break through the sand shields of a much stronger Gaara, so I'm pretty sure his water attacks will have no problems on Kimimaro (or Kakuzu).

Excuse me? Explain how. Let's remember, the genjutsu is so effective, the sensors can't see through it, so I'm not sure how you reasonable expect Kisame's sword to find him.

Again, there is no evidence of Sasori being immune to genjutsu.

a sensor can and did find the clam (gaara) and lets not forget 6 kage level shinobi are more than fast enough to kill this guy before the clam takes effect

Gaara didn't find the clam using sensory abilities... Gaara found the clam by physically searching for it with Sand and looking for an anomolly in the sand... Gaara also got clues from the Mizukage about how to do this... these guys won't even know they're in a genjutsu in the first place, let alone how to counter it, because the Mizukage won't tell them, and by the time they realise half the team might be dead.

Read the opening post. Fight starts with a 100 foot distance, with the assumption he has time to activate the genjutsu (which is reasonable anyway, given none of these guys are exactly speedsters), 100 feet should be sufficient for activating it against most people.

kimi did not have oil which seeped through gaara's sand and is its sole weakness. kimimaro survived on multiple occasion, gaaras most powerful attack leaving his real body vulnerable and able to be found by kisamehada.

There are just so many mid-high level shinobi in team 2 that I find it hard he can solo them all. Even if they cant burst him because of his genjutsu , they have alternative tactics to use (a little blood for hidan or kaku bros sealing items ) that is just hard to believe he could be able to beat a battle like that. Aside that you called 3rd raikage and n-gates Guy not speedsters.

You keep saying "it's just hard to believe", but you don't explain how they would beat him. How do they get out of the genjutsu?
