i have a ?.we all know that catching a jinchuriki in a genjutsu is useless because the tailed beast would help the host get out of it.just like how killer bee got out of sasuke's because the eight tails helped him.well heres my ? how was the mizukage being controlled and he was a jinchuriki and didnt she have it controlled.input please.

The bijuu only helps you get out of genjutsu if you have a friendship with it. To this point only Killer Bee and Naruto have done that

It could probably go to say that with a strong enough genjutsu the Jinchuriki and the Biju could both be controlled. I mean it takes a powerful genjutsu to control a tailed beast and it was supposedly madara controlling him so I don't see why he couldn't be strong enough to control both. It is still unclear if the Mizukage did have control over his biju or if it was Madara all along making it seem as if he had control.

Like it was seen when sasuke actually saw and communicated with Kurama inside Naruto, if done in a proper way, A sharingan user skilled enough can access the bijou inside the Jinchuriki and put him in a genjutsu as well as the Jinchuriki itself. Kirabi couldn't be put in a genjutsu himself because sasuke targetted him and not the 8 tails inside him.
