Personally I think it sounds quite forced and like it does actually sound like a middle-aged man. FANG OVER FANG!

Well, I know he has the man who voiced adult Gohan in DBZ.

OT: I just watched it yesterday. I think Laura Bailey is a great voice actress and fits Kushina very well. Though as a child she sounded a little too much like Maka (a character she played) from soul eater

Personally, I never had a problem with Naruto's English voice.

Here's my take. Besides the Zombie combo, all the villains in Shippuden pretty much blow away the subs. I see dubbed and subbed Konan as pretty much equal.

Troy Baker and Neil Kaplan have amazing voices and definitely capture the evil nature of Madara and Pain. I'm torn on which Madara voice is better though. The sub is growing on me. Sakura's voice is awful. Sasuke is meh. Naruto's sub voice wins just because the actor has so much better of a feel for Naruto than the dub VA. Hinata does a good job I think capturing the Japanese feel.

I LOVE Shikaku's subbed voice. Probably my favorite. BTW, does anybody know who's going to voice adult Obito? I've heard it will be Vic.

Only really because of Naruto's voice. Yuri Lowenthal's performance as Sasuke is amazing, and the guy who does Madara's voice is incredible.

Even if that is true, Naruto is the titular character. If his voice is gratingly annoying it kinda ruins the show. There's not one voice in the Japanese version that I dislike. Everyone perfectly fits their character.
