The stars,
The skies;
These close but distant things,
That posses our eyes.

We should conform our gaze,
And end our wrongful ways;
Finite are our final days.

Look around,
And focus down;
Or in the Earth's temper,
Be prepared to drown.

We're technology proud;
And egoistic and loud.
It's in our nature,
To devastate and overcrowd.

Throughout her lifespan,
Earth met life's every need,
But she's stumbling, and can't keep up;
With humanity's greed.

Virulent, toxic pollution,
Scarce efforts towards solution;

We'll strip her naked, burn her down
To the very last seed.

So live with your hearts, be the change,
And spread that resolution.​
