In naruto boruto the movie thats the strongest we have seen them. They are both rusty though sasuke is in better ninja shape than naruto. And sasuke only have one arm at the moment. You can say they are on par if not, sasuke is stronger just by a tad bit, so much that it really doesnt matter if they were to spar and go all out on each other. Kinda like how goku and vegeta powers are now in db super. Goku cleary said vegeta surpass him but a slightly difference isnt satisfying. So basically they pretty equal.

But if his words aren't 100% how could take what he said about that as 100%? Besides vote 1 Sasuke vote 2 Naruto means each has one win so as rivals they are tied. Only way to be sure of who is stronger is by having them both go all out against each other at their current strength and hope that one kills/kos the other.

no matter who says what afterward, they would have both died without sakura.
Sasuke has been planning to kill naruto, become the villain, and make the 5 nations have to team up to beat him, thereby bringing peace.
Narutos plan was to prevent Sasuke from doing that. because Sasuke was unable to finish naruto, Sasukes plans failed and Narutos plan suceeded.
Regardless of who's goals where achieved, they still tied, an outcome that worked for naruto, but not sasuke. Strength is not ideals. sasuke's ideals lost to naruto's. Naruto and Sasuke Tied.

The fact is Sasuke lacked the strength though not physical but mentally to carry out what he set out to do against Naruto which ended in him losing.
If he had strengthened his own resolve to do what must be done then Naruto would be dead and that would be the end of it the fact is he didn't so lost saying so against Naruto and again to his son Baruto.
The question about if that loss mean't he was weaker then Naruto well you can debate that with another member lol

Some people just cant accept the fact that in a fight, ties are possible. a tie, by sasukes goals is a loss, and by narutos goal is a victory. because they tied, sasuke failed in his plan. the simple fact is, sasuke saying he lost didnt make naruto any less nearly dead.

Physically they tied which is where you're coming from right? that was debated at length a million times over the past 2 years Yes they tied in the physical sense but in the part that mattered most to Sasuke was the overall sense of Victory which in the end he never got.
Now people say oh but Sasuke realized his faults and sided with Naruto in the end to little to late that's because he was TNJ'd hardcore and why he lost and that very reason is why he lost.
So Physically in their fight they stalemated but in the overall sense of the fight, Sasuke lost.
How's that or do you have more to say?
