[Theory] 20 D. Families?

This "theory" is based on nothing but the fact that there were 20 kings who formed the WG and 20 (well, 19) Tenryuubito families. So I think it'd make sense if there were 20 D. families. There isn't really any other evidence to support this, but given how little we know about the will of the D., almost all theories about it are pure speculation.

Maybe they're the 20 other families that directly opposed or fought with the 20 Noble Families. After defeat they're branded with the D to signify danger, or something along those lines?

Perfect thread... Like... really amazing. Couldn't even gather a list of all the current known Celestial Families and D Families, try to see some sort of connection between all of them, theorize origins or future names, nothing. Just state: "hey, 20 20, eh?"

ot, that's very possible. I don't like the idea of them losing and being branded with that name though. And given the sneer that Roger gave Whitebeard when he started to explain it, it probably comes from something else. I doubt he would take pride like that in his family losing a war.

This is a crack theory I don't see whats the problem, with you if you don't like something you can just ignore. It's not against the rules to make a crack theory (thread you mention don't exist), but it's against the rules to spam.

On topic: maybe, we have Gol, Portgas, Monkey, Trafalgar, Marshall, Jaguar, that would be 14 more.

This thread isn't spam though. Spamming is against the rules and promotes foolishness, completely different fro just throwing out an actual relevant thought/idea. And op was more than 1 sentence. All he's doing is showing a connection.

Don't argue with her about this. Lili is one of the people here that love well thought-out and intricate theories. And you know...she's right. There's not much to discuss when someone just says "20=20." This might have been better as a post in the chapter discussion chapter, or any other D. thread, not an entire thread on its own.

The latest chapter basically confirmed to me that the D's are strongly connected to the Tenryuubito in some way or another. Hell, they seemed like "anti-tenryuubito". Maybe they're descended from a bunch of people from the ancient kingdom who stood against the 20 WG kings? In which case it'd make sense if there were 20 of them as well.
