I don't see what Edo Nagato did that healthy Nagato couldn't do?

The real comparison I don't get is Hashirama is even close to So6P?

Dont think that nagato before gedo mazo could use path ability in one body or els he would have killed hanzo and co without gedo mazo. But i might be wrong

(just to clear up didnt even get hanzo with gedo mazo)
