I think the version of Madara you're talking about is edo Madara which is using a fake rinnegan. but I'm talking about an alive Madara with real rinnegan
It's true Madara used Susanoo ribcage after acquiring the rinnegan when Tobirama attacked him, but Madara can use susanoo without eyes at all its not related to the rinnegan and he probably can't use its perfect form without sharingan otherwise he would've used it against the tailed beasts. only Sasuke can use Sharingan abilities like Susanoo and amaterasu with the rinnegan and enhance them with its powers. like when he used a susanoo made from the rinnegan to block the IT light.. which made black zetsu impressed, Also the genjutsu Sasuke used against the tailed beasts was probably a Sharingan ability enhanced with the rinnegan.. which made Hagoromo impressed

While Madara may be able to use Susano'o without eyes, he can still use it with the Rinnegan, and that is using "Sharingan powers with the Rinnegan". Of course, I already know he wouldn't be able to use something like Amaterasu or Kamui from his Rinnegan, as only Sasuke's can do that, but my original point was meant to be that he can switch between the eyes, not that his Rinnegan holds all the power of his Sharingan.

The real rinnegan can't be switch to a sharingan, only a fake rinnegan can do that whether its logical or not thats how it is.
And the difference in susanoo between rinnegan alive Madara, and rinnegan Sasuke, is that Madara makes his susanoo relying on his chakra while Sasuke makes his susanoo relying on both his chakra and the rinnegan.
I think if Juubi rinnegan Madara used susanoo it would be more powerful than Sasuke but thats only due to him being a Juubi jinchuriki not a rinnegan user

It's not confirmed that the Rinnegan cannot be switched. All we know is that Madara did it under Impure World Resurrection and when he was out of chakra after being extracted from Kaguya.

Susano'o is produced by the special brain chakra that Uchiha's have which allows them to use their Mangekyou Sharingan powers. Sasuke's Susano'o repelled Infinite Tsukuyomi because he was also using the special chakra of his Rinnegan. Madara should be able to do the same, as he can use Susano'o while using his Rinnegan like Sasuke and has been shown able to use both powers together to summon meteors.
