2) why didn't it burn when sasuke covered it in amaterasu

I don't think Amaterasu can burn pure chakra. Mei managed to melt Sasuke's Susanoo with her Boil Release, so it couldn't have been to strong for Ama.

And that brings up another question correct me if I'm wrong but isn't chakra energy so how can you make energy solid
