1. Because of the `Rinne Tensei` cast that failed I suppose (similar to Nagato).

2. We'll see in the next chapters I suppose. I find it kind of lame that he sealed it that easy.

2) I'd go with Izanagi. When Obito explains the power to Konan, he says it was the jutsu the Sage used to "create", then explains its power as "turning imagination into reality." Obito used it to create this reality where he is the Juubi Jinchurriki.

That Izanagi theory it's actually very plausible, can Izanagi have that range of power, it's the question that comes in my mind...

As evident by the glowing aura around Madara, Obito was in fact using Rinne Tensei on him, but managed to break free. Remember, Hashirama saw the glow around Madara as he was being revived and said "Is this the Rikudou's kinjutsu? The Rinne Tensei".

So his hair did turn white because of the Rinne Tensei, but Obito was able to break free from Madara's control before he was successfully resuscitated.

As for two, it's anyone's guess... The common theory is he either used Izanagi or some other extraordinary means to make this happen. Agreed Kishimoto needs to explain this a bit better. Obito's hair turned white like Nagato's, probably because he used Rinne Tensei (almost?)

That Izanagi theory it's actually very plausible, can Izanagi have that range of power, it's the question that comes in my mind...

I imagine its limit depends on the user's skill in Yin-Yang release. The closer one gets to the Power of Rikudou, the more it can shape reality. I am 99% sure that we will get the full explanation by Kishi next week though! =D
