2 Itachi Questions

1- Did Obito know that Itachi was spying on the Akatsuki? Obito let him join but did he know he was a spy? If so why did he let Itachi stay?

2- To who was Itachi giving Akatsuki intel to? If Itachi was a spy to Akatsuki and was trying to protect Konoha he must have told somebody about what Akatsuki is doing right?

I think Jman and Solo King were definitely Konoha's top 2 spies. But I didn't know Jiraiya knew Itachi was a double agent? Is that mangaphax or just speculation?

he made sure the info gets rolling. he himself had no need to contact the leaf. when you have the sharingan, you can easily use genjutsu for such works..and the latter may not even be aware.......

Theres no proof if he ever actually gave intel to the Leaf on Akatasuki. Jiraiya was the person to introduce the viewers to Akatsuki only because he has spies in every country and he was personally tracking Orochimaru for years, who was in the Akatsuki too so Itachi didn't give him any intel.

Obito probably knew he was a spy if he knew all Itachis hidden motives to begin with anyway. But Itachi and the rest of Akatsuki were nothing to Obito, just a means to an end so he didn't care.

He even knew that Sasori's spy was kabuto too.

He told him he was aware, but he knew itachi wasn't going to do sh*t

Yeah Obito knew but he chose to keep and use him as part of Akatsuki for his plans.[

It's speculation,and they're facts that go against it.Jiraiya talked to Kakashi about The Akatsuki and Itachi a couple times and even mentioned how Sasuke wants revenge on Itachi,and Jiraiya said nothing about the truth of Itachi.

If he knew then he would definetely have said something,after all he did inform Kakashi about the Akatsuki which Kakashi himself never heard of.His first talo was about chapter 140-143,somewhere there,and the was after Naruto and Sasuke's roof top battle about chapter 175.
