is it possible that luffy could (not saying he would , because that would ruin one piece):eat a second devil fruit power,please dont flame me just yet

as we know a devil fruit has a "demon" with certain powers inside of one , if you eat a devil fruit this "demon" is inside your body and you attain its power according to CP9 which is an interesting way of putting it

they said that if you ate a second devil fruit these "demons" would fight eachother and rip your body apart and leave no traces,this seems to be a widely known fact,yet bleackbeard infront of the worlds eyes attained a second devil fruit power

now to the main point , this thread has 2 theories

the 1st one: blackbeard has a very odd body which can tank A LOT and i mean A LOT without the use of a DF or haki,is it possible that he transplanted WB's devil fruit into him? like when a person with a DF ability dies the Fruit is left in their corpse?or WB ate it whole and DF's are indegestible? what does the transplant do? the powers are now blackbeards because the fruit is inside his body , but these "demons" cannot fight eachover, if you know what i mean , the fruit is a barrier between the two of them , which keeps blackbeard from dieing.
its either that or BB just tanks it with his seemingly indestructable body

now onto the main point
luffy is rubber , we all know that right... and he can tank large impacts,falls and explosions,only haki,blades and extremely powerful shots like kizarus light beams can potential kill him.
so him being rubber effectively makes him a tank aswell , like blackbeard,and if my theory is wrong on how BB attained WB's power,and he is just tanking it , it is possible for luffy to have a 2nd DF.
please dont get me wrong,im not saying this IS true or that luffy will attain a 2nd DF.

We don't know exactly what is so atypical about Blackbeard's body yet and and anyway, Luffy's tanking is due to his devil fruit power so I doubt it. Good theory though +rep

Well, Blackbeard's DF allows him to "drag things in", which is what allows him to cancels a user's DF powers when he grabs them, correct? So, maybe he has some extreme version of this ability that allows him to drag it in so much it's extracted. Perhaps this allows him to do it, rather than just a special body?

In the lastest mangas, we have seen that when the user of a DF dies, a nearby fruit transforms into a Devil Fruit (maybe the one that the user that died had).
So that would explain how Blackbeard gained WB powers. He had a fruit with him, and the fruit transformed. What happened next we don't know.

Still ... Luffy won't have another Devil Fruit. Why? Oda said in a SBS that gave Luffy the Rubber Fruit because it wouldnt be as strong as the others, so that it wouldnt be boring to write the manga by making the main guy OP.
Luffy "mastered" is DF, making him strong and he can handle powerfull Logias, so if he had another fruit he would be too strong. That's what i think.

if you use haki you can touch a logia.....
BB's yami yami no mi is like a paramecia logia,it has logia powers(a force of nature),but a physical body(paramecia)

have you not seen how BB can somehow tank anything except attacks at the same kind of level as el thor and kizarus light beams,or ice age......

Btw, in the Marineford Arc, BlackBeard did say something like "I can manipulate darkness with my right hand, and quake with my left", so he can use both at once, And I think in the manga I saw somewhere someone said he was DF hunting for the past two years?

That's what I find really stupid about BB. He is so haxed right now it's not funny anymore. Luffy will have to get a powerup() to match this guy.

guys i never said luffy would get a 2nd fruit power , i just suggested someone with the gum gum fruit powers might possibly be capable of ingesting another DF

blackbeard is only special because his original devil fruit is special!..........it allows him to get two devil fruits!
