The Character Sheet is a pre-made template for you to determine the basics for establishing a character. When you create the thread, you do not need every field completed. If you seek your character to be approved, then eventually every field needs to be completed. When you are ready to submit your character, go to the [ Character Registration ] section and create a new thread. Below is the Character Sheet Template, since you need it regardless of your choice.

Character Sheet Breakdown
The following breakdown will cover the important information you need for the Character Sheet. Do not worry about being uninformed on the depths of the Role-Play. This post is dedicated to walking you through the basics for developing a character. Links will be provided, so when you find the time to read the Role-Play in-depth.

House, Rank, and Title Information Section
The Role of your character refers to the affiliation you choose to represent during your time here. Either your character naturally walks in the spectrum of heroism or villainy. The Rank of the character refers to the progress you have obtained within the role-play. These ranks are primarily out of character knowledge, thus hold very little significance in the narrative the DoT World. The Title of your character refers to the social and political status they have acquired within the DoT World. Each title has its own unique benefits that are designed to represent the world's view of your character. Click the Following Link for an In-Depth Read on the [ Role, Rank, and Titles ] Thread.

Influence Information Section
Every character needs to have some information regarding their Devil Fruit. You are not forced to have a Devil Fruit [ just note “None” if you have not consumed any fruit ]. In the case you have consumed a Devil Fruit, you need to mention the Devil Fruit Name, Type, and Description. You can find more information in the [ Devil Fruit Guide ] Thread about the different types. We personally want to make it very clear that once you have consumed a Devil Fruit, you cannot consume any other fruit nor scoop to un-consume that devil fruit. Let us repeat, you are NOT allowed to scoop into another Devil Fruit or un-consume the Devil Fruit after eating a Devil Fruit. The Role-Play has collected the Devil Fruit shown in the Series that can translate into the game. Click the following link, to view the [ Devil Fruit Inventory ] Thread.

Attribute Information Section
Characters also need to have their stats sorted out. The [ Attribute System ] explains in detail the purpose and function each attribute maintains in the Role-Play. There are Seven Attributes: Power [POW] to determine your striking power, Constitution [CON] to determine your durability against damage, Agility [AGL] to determine your movement speed, Dexterity [DEX] to determine your field of vision - hearing - and tracking speed, Intelligence [INT] to determine your mental fortitude, Technique [TEQ] to determine the amount and efficiency of your fighting capabilities, and Resolve [RES] to determine the amount of willpower possessed for Haki usage. Every Character begins with Eighteen [18] Points ( Excluding the Point Gained from Archetypes ) to allocate to any attribute.

Feat Information Section
You'll also need to begin assigning Traits to your character. [ Traits ] are special qualities and characteristics your biography can acquire, though they require you to spend a special currency known as Trait Points (TP). Every Biography starts with Forty [40] Trait Points. You are required to purchase a Trait which solidifies your Race. Aside from the Race Traits, the character must purchase 1 Archetype Trait. The character must also purchase 2 Persona Traits. Any Character is only allowed to obtain or earn 1 Crew / Group Trait regardless of the in-character situations they may find themselves. A List of the Traits can be found in the [ Trait List ] Thread.

Additional Character Sheets? Can I Have More than One?
Under normal circumstances, the Role-Players can only have One [1] Major Character Sheet ( thus One [1] Character ). Opportunities can grant the Role-Player additional characters to control and these characters are identified as Personal Followers. Unless the Personal Follower is deemed special or enhanced by other variables such as traits for example, the level at which you obtained the Personal Follower will remain the same permanently. Personal Followers are capable of gaining the following list of rewards: Rank / Bounty or Fame / Attribute Points / Battle Cards ). There are rare situations where the Role-Player can obtain a Developing Character, which is a fancy way of stating that the Role-Player can have a Second Major Character Sheet. Personal Followers Lack Trait Points and Requires the Role-Player to Spend Trait Points From a Main Character Sheet.

Permanent Damage / A Character's Death / Legacy Characters
Permanent Damage ( Perma Damage ) refers to the Game Mode where the character is not protected by the respawn phenomenon. The respawn concept is the reason why your character can experience anything in the game that, logically speaking, can end your character’s life or at the very minimum cause an everlasting effect. Aside from rare moments where the severity of a situation may trigger Permanent Damage to activate, the Role-Players have the decision in any thread to turn this Game Mode on. Developing and Personal Followers always have Permanent Damage activated unless expressed otherwise. What Happens When My Character Dies? The Role-Player is Forced to Make a New Character ( if they Choose to Continue Playing the Game ): the New Character Retains the Old Character's Attribute Point Gains, Attribute Benchmark Gains, and Resolve Amount Only - Everything Else is Lost.
