2 boys 1 girl

Every sensei's team is made of 2 boys and 1 girl. Each single time. Is this on purpose from Kishimoto? Why never 3 boys, or 3 girls, or 2 girls 1 boy. I understand most shinobi are males. But it is a little bit funny that each time a team is made of 2 boys and 1 girl.

I never really understood it etiher; but Killer Bee had 2 girls and 1 guy as students (is he counts?) and some fodder chuunin exam teams were all guys...This also seemed weird to me; Dosu-Zaku-Kin were in this formation too.
