Gai is Seen as a character who is most of the time happy, alot of the time he refers himself to be "The noble Green beast of Konoha", in the anime gai has become very addicted to using the phrase "Fire of youth", guy sometimes has problems with remembering the oppenents who he has fought before. On missions guy can become very agressive and serious if the mission needs to be completed, he often shows his gleeming white teeth, this shows that he vowels to commit to the statemade he has made, in other Cases a "Promise". Guy is also seen to push Rock lee very hard thus trying to make him master the art of Taijutsu. As he wants the best out of his students, he also sets him self goals, for example he challanges kakashi too see which are the better out of the 2.

In the anime Guy and Kakashi are deemed to be really good friends, as guy made kakashi his rival for life, They were saw competeing on many different challanges even during the attack of the 9 tails. During the attack Many shinobi were blocked off from entering the fray, due to it being too dangerous for their levels, Years after Gai became a Jounin, thus where he met his students in the academy - Tenten,Neji,Lee.

Gai Has a Very weird haircut, which almost takes up a bowl shape, its pure black with a white pattern across the front of his hair, He wears a green strangent jacket with the uzumaki symbol on it, he wears a green jumpsuit underneath his jacket, with green trousers. Gai is also known for his very thickening eyebrows, he has a pure black pupil, in both eyes with a white background,
