Snake is a very sly and cunning character. he takes great pride in learning new techniques and would fight till the death for those he cared about, Overall strangers to Snake are indeed strangers he will seem like a shadow only there if you notice it. He is a very smart character and always sneaks around following and in essence stalking those he is suspicious of. In fights he is very analytical and can sometimes become wary and toy with his opponent to take as much from the battle as he can.

History:
Born in a small traveling caravan to a simple woman and a father who abandoned his ninja village. he grew up stealing merchandise from feudal lords, and other rich people to turn around and sale to the common people in hopes he could some day afford to stay in one place and not fight for scraps. On a cool summer morning around 3:00 AM when Snake was 18 The caravan was attacked by a rogue ninja and 3-4 hired hands, they did not take merchandise or money just the corpse of Snakes father. Snake ran after them and attempted to subdue them with words, but they quickly threatened him and subdued him in an instant. About to kill him the ninja says that there was a bounty on this mans head "i will take this corpse to Kakuzu and bribe him to teach me his ninjutsu now!"
before the finishing blow on snake a sandstorm whips up and Snake runs.
later he was wandering around the land of wind by Sumo ninjas Returning from a recon mission in the land of fire. Found bloody bruised and battered He awakes in the Sand hospital and begs the Kazekage to allow him to become a genin in his village. The kazekage reveals the Kanji of "love" on his forehead" and asks for what reason do i wish to learn ninjutsu. he simply reply to protect those closest to him. The kazekage smiles and allows Snake to train in the ninja academy
