What an amazing book.
So interesting with a crazy plot twist.

I felt so empty and bored like "wtf am I going to do with my life now" xd after I finished reading it.
Loved it

What do you think about it?

It was a good read and is a good book but I am not a fan of dark endings tbh.
I felt a little disappointed too after Julia and Winston had a 4-line conversation and then just parted and never talked again. The part when he got shot tough I was contempt with it, lol. I think it was better than a happy ending.
Especially living in such a cynical and dark place, it would be odd to have a happy ending.

George Orwell is a brilliant writer. I normally hate reading, but we had to read "1984" and "Animal farm" for school a few years back, and I enjoyed both books.

Yeah I expected a completely different ending in the beginning. But once I saw all those things against them at the end and all those crazy reveals, I knew it was just going to end badly.

Dude, that book. The rat scene, I almost felt the feeling Winston was going to get. Some scary shit. That book is why we should put faith in the gov'ment

1984 is definitely one of my favorite books. The dystopian flavor and the end of the book seriously left such an empty feeling. It's like when we lose all hope in our authoritative figures. The ending just shows that there's no hope. And that quote: "War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength."

I'll never forget it. xP
