A lot of 1's In the early episodes I found him to be an overly dramatic character that fit in with the minor comedic plots involving Naruto's mischief very well. Not close to the best or most important characters, but for those brief unimportant times he was the right character in my opinion. 8/10 for me.

It is not because he is not that powerful, he is a bad character. I loved his determination when he tried to save Konohamaru vs one of the 6 Pains. Also how he looked back about Naruto... That touched me, a loyal shinobi!

I gave Ebisu a 7/10. He started off as a real creep. However, his character has really developed since his introduction. He finally recognizes Naruto as a person and great shinobi and he understands him. Plus, it's funny to watch his reaction when Naruto uses Sexy no Jutsu. XD

I did.

I liked the way he was training Naruto.

He could of probably taught Naruto some elements as well.

I find Ebisu and Jiraiya to be a better teacher to Naruto than Kakashi.

He is a character with little development and the little development he does receive is too rushed. One experience with Naruto cannot realistically change a character so dramatically.

Totally agreed. That, and the fact that Ebisu was loyal to the will of fire during Pain's arc.

I found him funny enough with Naruto and his speech was pretty heartwarming when Naruto came back to the village after beating Nagato.

I give him 6/10, not because his powerful, because his not really but I admire his bravery when he tried to protect konohamaru during the pein arc.
