Okay, this made me chuckle. His design does seem too much. Like the artist took kakashi, sasuke and naruto designs and blended them all into one character.

The only one who really looks like a comical version of a deviantart Naruto OC special is Kawaki. However Boruto's new design has him still wearing his signature pink color, most bad-ass characters don't usually wear pink, unless your Vegeta for a few episodes :lol

It's possible? I just know that many older next generation fan arts depict the same style. I honestly don't really expect anyone looking different from the normal bar Boruto & Sarada, since they are going to be the whole Hokage/Shadow thing.

They'll have the capes and all that jazz. Sarada with her hat too. I saw it a million miles away

There weren't any previous characters that has the same tatoo symbols as Boruto has right now except in polar contrast with Kaweki. We don't even know what kind of tatoo entails. His style is different compare to most characters although he has some property of Sasuke and Naruto , it was mostly passed down to Boruto (Character development) everything that Boruto went through which is safely assume. So really if it was billboard, then there would be no reason for Boruto to wear such cosplay design for nothing.

Honestly I'm just glad that Boruto is the anti-thesis of his father, which is what I see by symbolic. Though it's not something that points at you, you have to actually look at it and thensome. For example, Naruto is all about bright colors, has a bright personality despite his troubles, and continues along his path changing the people around him.

Boruto wears mainly dark colors (although his signature color is pinkish, but you get the idea), doesn't have a bright personality, and probably won't gather the people he meets to follow him like Jesus. Any manga/anime that delves away from the typical Shounen tropes is worth at least giving a chance, especially when things become overused.

I'm not even talking about his design at this point, just the whole happy-go lucky dumb protagonists, who all work hard and shit. Bolt on the other hand is brat, is smart, a bit of a jack-ass, and doesn't like to work hard at all.

I came to respect the design because at least it seemed Boruto matured, which is something I wanted to see from Part 2 Naruto when he showed up. Instead he went back to his antics not even one single chapter in (sexy jutsu crap). It's things like this that make you gravitate towards Hebi Sasuke in the beginning when we contrast him to the end of VOTE1 Sasuke.

Kishimoto had a hard time with just going straight for it, which is why I feel this author might throw in some good stuff here and there.

The author can't take away something that the story developed. Boruto's bratty-ness towards his father was reconciled between him and Naruto in the Movie. I can almost guarantee you, that if Sarada was fighting Kawaki with a tattoo, sword, cape, and what-ever else. You would be fapboying with at least 12 threads on some Hagoromo-level potential.

The new author ruined his image which is why I hate Boruto, no one is asking for his feats to be close to Naruto and Sasuke's level because they're gods with the Sage's power, it's literally impossible for non-transmigrants to be that strong.

There's so many other ways of making Boruto a Kage tier shinobi without making him look like a forced version of the original characters. Relying on CM makes him look unoriginal, underwhelming and unimpressive.

Everything about Boruto names as a Prodigy "BOLT" referring to Neji "Screws" as well as Minato FTG as well Sasuke being his disciple (All of them are prodigy) which his mark/design, style, origin, jutsu have been engraved to Boruto. Boruto wears dark with pink and clean clothing and a symbol of "Bolt" which he portray some aspect of Naruto and Sasuke personality yet his characteristic is a polar opposite of Naruto due to living in the modern technology however he have been changed to become a full fledge shinobi whereas Kaweki was design to be western guy wearing some studs and his hairstyle as mohawk.

Kishimoto never foreshadowed him having Hyuuga powers. He never unlocked the Byakugan at a young age like his sister, it mostly just wishful thinking from the fan-base. We all knew from design alone he was going to be more like Naruto/Minato in terms of Jutsu (Shadow Clones/Rasengan). Every character has had their hand outs, although you can't show me one panel where it was actually showed-cased to be a free hand out. Like let the story flesh out, whether it is or isn't doesnt bother me. But I don't know why you're complaining about such trivial things like it actually bothers you. I didn't see you ranting when Orochimaru said Sasuke could surpass Madara, and then he gets a free Rikudou boost /w with the Rinnegan.

Naruto relies on the Kyuubi's power, and his Master relied on the Curse Mark power for years, still relies on his brother's eyes, and Hagoromo's hand outs. And you expected the main character of the next generation series to not rely on external powers when they have to keep up with the old generation fast?

No you're just being dumb. There was no image that the author ruined in the first place, basically from what I see your nitpicking at the smallest things and causing unnecessary problems for yourself because of fan fic thinking. The real reason why you don't want this to happen is because you don't want them to be Naruto/Sasuke's level with hand outs when Naruto/Sasuke got this strong because of hand outs themselves.

Yes I understand that might make you butt-hurt, but like, who cares? It's damn pictures and words at the end of the day, whether it's logical or illogical, doesn't matter. No one believed Naruto or Sasuke were going to surpass Hashirama/Madara in the War Arc with one chapter, but they did.

There's so many other ways of making Boruto a Kage tier shinobi without making him look like a forced version of the original characters. Relying on CM makes him look unoriginal, underwhelming and unimpressive.

I highly doubt Boruto and Kawaki are just Kage Level if they are going to be on some Naruto/Sasuke ish level. It's not even a Curse Mark, but stated to be a 'crest'. So again I don't see why you're complaining other than the design looking similar.
