Before I start the critique.. these are very amatuer but we all have our start. I mean I started out using Paint.Net and sucked, I didn't even know what a render was. A dose of reality always helps the soul, especially if you are self-conscious.

There very plain and boring, and always save a image as PNG even if it isn't a transparent image. It always seems to give the picture better quality in my perspective. Second, always pick a good render and if not good quality, sharpen the sh*t out of it. Or put a boring filter over it, I prefer upping the brightness and changing a few things. Third, always pick an image off DeviantArt. Make sure it's very retro and catches the eye.
